immediately use that quote to prove their right?

e.g. Bush with global warming, he now says it's a problem that we need to fix immediately.

If Bush really is so stupid I wouldn't use him as a source to prove your case.

They just disagree with conservatives and can't for the life of them understand why anyone would think differently than they do. They can't possibly be wrong, so conservatives have to be stupid in their way of thinking.

i understand you attempt to make a element right here, and that i comprehend it somewhat isn't any thank you to get a suited answer with you, yet permit's seem at this on a case-by-case foundation. Reagan wasn't stupid by any ability, yet he did have some problems with info. as quickly as he have been given a narrative in his head, he does not permit it come out and he'd quote it lots. This drove even his very own team a sprint nuts. however the guy ought to steer and communicate, little question approximately it. Bush's greatest subject is that he's not somewhat articulate in public settings. You botch the be conscious nuclear some situations and people start to ask your self. And he looks to take a view on some matters and carry directly to it no be counted what the evidence is, with Iraq being the main considerable occasion. i'm not sure all of us is calling Palin dumb according to se, yet she does look decrease than-counseled on worldwide and national matters by some criteria. Palin additionally suffers from the articulation subject suggested above; perhaps you observed some interviews that had that subject.

I never said that republicans were or are stupid. Much of issues and politics are bases on opinion and believes. Who am I to say that one is wrong to believe as they do.
As for Global warming, I didn't use Bush's Quote to justify the right. I used the supreme courts ruling to justify my point.
Further more I never said the man was stupid. I said he was a genius. A stupid person would never have been elected twice.

It's called a double standard.......
I saw that article last week about Bush and global warming. The New York Times had a picture of Bush at the 2000 presidential debate saying there wasn't enough evidence to support global warming, then right next to it from the day before was a picture of Bush insisting that it WAS a problem that we needed to deal with. It tried to make him look like a flip flopper, but failed to point out that the pictures were over 7 years apart!

The ridiculous thing I keep reading is how liberals demand to know why Bush can't admit when he's wrong? Yet when he does, or when he changes his position on things like global warming, he's painted out to be a flip flopper.

Again, it's called the liberal double standard. Party before country.

Basically we are saying that if this moron gets it, how come you can't.

But, I don't really believe that Bush gets it. He has been told that the majority of America believes in Global Warming, so he is giving it lip service. What exactly has he proposed to do about it?

As for the people complaining that the media has used this issue to make shrub look like a flip flopper, what the hell did you clowns do to Kerry? You took quotes out of context, and misquoted him, to make it look like he was going back and forth when if you paid attention, his position was consistant through out. You can't have it both ways. In addition, people's opinions evolve over time. You can't call it flip flopping when you dislike the person, and thoughtful evolution when you like them.

Is this some kind of revelation for Bush? He's been fighting it for 6 years so now we think he's changed his spots?

Whatever he proposes will be useless as it will be written by those who have a vested interest in NOT doing anything meaningful and environmentalists will be excluded.

It is never wise to overestimate Bush. He always comes up short.

We do it as if to say "if this idiot is finally getting it, then who else is going to deny it"? This is especially the case with Bush because he has a cult like following of the die hard 28%ers. What he says, they agree to, so when Bush indicates that the liberal position was right all along, it's fun to watch the wingnut heads collectively explode "....must support ...the leader.....cannot ....agree with liberal....arg!"

Republicans and Democrats are both stupid. Neither side gives a crap about anything but power anymore.
