Will it be Laurence Maroney, Maurice Jones Drew, Reggie Bush, Joseph Addai, DeAngelo Williams, Lendale White, Jerious Norwood, or Leon Washington? All of these young guys had very productive first years. Bush was better known so his stood out more. But guys like DeAngelo Williams, Maurice Jones Drew and Joseph Addai had arguably just as good if not better first seasons than Reggie Bush and like Bush they had to share time with comparable veterans. Joseph Addai could have and maybe should have been Super Bowl MVP. Unlike Bush; Joseph Addai, DeAngelo Williams and Lawrence Maroney will all be exclusive starters for The Colts, Panthers and Patriots this year. All three will be running behind three of the top O lines in the entire league. So for you fantasy football people who do I choose as my number 1 back?

i expect maroney, jones drew, bush, addai, williams, and white to all have better seasons. i'm not sure if washington will get enough carries to rush for 600+ yds again with thomas jones being the feature back. i expect the rushing game to suffer in atlanta if michael vick is not playing, and it looks like he will be facing a lot of legal trouble so norwood may suffer.

maroney will benefit from a strong passing game. if maroney can handle being the feature back and stay healthy this very talented back will have a great season.

bush should improve on reading the running holes this year and with so much talent around him on offense it increases of chances of more big plays.

white will be the feature back if he can manage his weight and this will mean more carries which will mean more yards.

addai benefits from a very strong passing game, too and with all the skills he has should do even better than last season since he is now the feature back.

williams will get more carries this season and if the rest of the offense can stay healthy and produce like it has in past years, he should put up better numebrs this season.

i think jones drew will have the best season out of all of the second year running backs. he will get more carries this season with fred taylor on the decline. jones drew has a ridiculously strong lower body and legs as thick as tree trunks. he is also extremely fast. he had very good numbers last season and a 5.7 yds per carry average which is great. he may only be 5'7" but he was able to work that to his advantage by fitting into smaller spaces and it makes him harder to tackle. he also weighs 215 lbs of solid muscle which at his height is pretty ridiculous. he weighs as much as many backs several inches taller than him. i plan to try and get this guy on my fantasy team.

Addai will have a great year because not only is he now the starter but he also has a great passing game to back him up and keep the backers off of him. Maroney is the same case and I think he actually has more talent than that of Addai and his his defense will actually get him the ball more than the Colt's d will for Addai. DeAngelo Williams probably won't have the best year unless the Panthers starter goes down with a major injury (which he has a history of). LenDale (who plays for my team) is in deep water with Jeff Fisher and is capable of losing the starting job to Chris Henry the rookie out of Arizona so he won't be doing so great plus hes over weight. Jones Drew is a stud and will definetly get more playing time this year since Taylor will be getting older. But I think he might be a little small to take to many hits so that could wear on him. Leon Washington won't have a very good season since the Jets aquired Jones from the Bears. So all in all I like both Maroney and Addai to have good years but Maroney to be just a little more productive, since he can catch also.

#1: Joseph Addai was not even close to being the SB MVP.
If anything, Dominic Rhodes should have been the MVP.

#2: Maurice Jones - Drew is the best 2nd year RB next to Lawrence Maroney and Addai. Draft at least 1 of these 3.

#3: Reggie Bush should be selected after these backs. Addai and Maroney is the #1 back in their systems. Jones - Drew will get more carries than Fred Taylor. Regie Bush still will split carries and time with McAllister. I'd take McAllister over Reggie Bush (Unless we are playing Madden).

I think Laurence Maroney will have the best year, but Addai will be close behind. These two have absolutely no competition for touches and will be feature backs. Remember that Fred Taylor and DeShaun Foster will steal touches from Maurice Jones-Drew and DeAngelo Williams respectively. Norwood will be a workhorse once Dunn gives way in Atlanta, but that won't be until next year. Leon Washington and Lendale White have bust written all over them.

I would say that Addai is the best choice. He is the back for the Colts. There will be no sharing this season for him. Jones-Drew is an awesome #2 back in the fantasy leagues because he gets TDs but Addai will have a better season. Maroney is the feature-back in New England, but he needs a second back like Dillon for him to do well. He isn't an every down back.Bush finally figured out how to score mid season last year but it was because of his play-making abilities and he is still not loosing out on the lions share of the hand-offs so do expect him to have the best season. Williams is still and unproven commodity. Her was injured last season and when he did play it wasn't pretty. I would have to say that he needs another year until he becomes the back to beat.

I'd say Lendale White. Bush, Joseph Addai, DeAngelo Williams and Lawrence Maroney all have in pass first offenses and bush still will be splitting time with Deuce. Lendale White actually came in lighter than last year and he will not lose his job to Chris Henry he might lose some carries but not his job.

IMHO, Maroney will have the best season of those you named, followed closely by Jones-Drew and Addai.

Williams and Bush still need to contend for carries with other RBs on their own teams. While Jones-Drew does as well, no one is expecting Fred Taylor to get in the way of a cannonball like Jones-Drew, who will make the most of every opportunity he gets.

Addai *could* have the best season, but it's not certain whether he will be as productive without Dominic Rhodes taking some of the pounding for him. I think Maroney w/o Dillon will be more productive than Addai w/o Rhodes. Just my initial impression.

Joseph addai is going to have another killer season. Even though I am a bears fan... I watched rhodes and addai stomp all over us in the superbowl. The run game was very affective and i can get plenty of others that'd agree. Bush will have an even better season than last year but addai will take the cake.

I think Reggie Bush will be good but he can never live up to the hype. I think Joseph Addai will, once again, have the best season of all of those mentioned.
