I do not beleive it you can do both in Ohio anymore, you may want to check with senate bill 185 that just passed. I would say if you are tired of loan officers that do not respond find some new ones. Ask for refrrals from other realtors you work with. We used to have realtors working in our office since we are a FHA delegated underwriter and we have our own line of credit we are not allowed to have realtors doing both. Honestly the ones that realtors we had working are doing more business now because they are not handling both sides. You really need to be in the business for a while untiil you really can understand how to structure deals properly, and you can understand things that can go wrong on a loan and how to fix it quickly. Our side is full of paperwork and difficult underwriters and small margins, unless you charge someone extra money. I would be glad to help you with any clients. I always return calls and I am very fair to my clients.

Do you plan to continue as a realtor too. Be sure that there aren't any restrictions against being both. It sounds like a step backward. I would talk to the lending institution and ask if you could work directly with a single person or find lenders who are more responsive.pp
