You could be a greeter at Wal-Mart... Do you have a Little Ceasar's? They pay people to stand outside and hold their sign.

You could see if you could house/pet sit for people that are away.

It depends on the nature of your ailments. Can you drive? There's lots of driving jobs out there. Do you really have to work at home? There's lots of jobs that don't require much physical activity. Figure out exactly what you can and can't do and then find a job that fits that description. If you need help see a doctor and/or a career counsellor and between the two of them they should give you some even better suggestions.

Do whatever You want. Apply for those positions that You think You would like to have a go at. Who is going to stop You, other than Yourself?

Consider going to a community college to be trained at something you are physically able to do. You might be surprised at what is available. If your ailments are not serious enough for you to receive benefits then you just need to find something that you can accomplish.

Work is not necessarily meant to be easy. At your age you should be able to work for another ten years. Unless you are independently wealthy or are willing to starve you are going to have to do something to support yourself.

Semi-disabled people are usually able to draw partial benefits. If you have been turned down and you truly feel you deserve benefits see a disability lawyer.

Maybe some sort of receptionist job. I went to the MVA a couple of weeks ago and there was an older gentleman there who sat by the door and made sure everyone who came in had everything they needed and directed them where to go. That would be a great job for you if you have a way to get back and forth to work.

you could also do telephone tech support, or take orders on the phone, or deal with customers on the phone. however, you will most likely need to find such work, on line. go to www.guru.com and you can post what you are looking for. lots of companies farm out their customer support and sales calls. actually, sales calls would be good, to clients on a list for a company you can work for. just promise to get them literature, qualify the person who would be the decision maker and then, forward on the information to your company.
very easy.
