my cpu is a pentium D 3.2ghz dual core and with the stock fan heatsink unit i am getting 58C at idle and up to 80C at full load. once i got up to 88C which scared the hell out of me as the breaking point for this processor is 96C. i need a better cpu cooling solution that does not involve liquid.

Arctic Silver 5 is the best thermal compound available.

Used with a good heatsink from zalman or thermaltake should drop those temps significantly.

Best would be Thermalright Ultra 120 or the 90. But Scythe's Infinity or Ninja would also be great.
