Way too much!

Since 1900, we have a 600% increase in taxes (if you don't think that is 'control', don't pay them to see if it's an armed person or an unarmed person who comes to take your home)

We need permits for everything, children can't deliver papers, and if someone doesn't like your parenting skills, people come from places with names like 'children services' to take your children and to give you classes. Our founding fathers would say that the only 'children services' needed in the land of the free, home of the brave is PARENTS.

The larger government gets, the more parents are held in contempt!

I want more government control and less responsibility for my own life. They are not going far enough. Federal regulations establish how much water my toilet can use per flush, but not how much toilet paper I use.

We waste too many resources on choices. These choices should be eliminated. We're all the same any way, couldn't they make stretchy one size fits all uniforms and shoes. I want the government to take care of all my health care including nutrition. I would think they could come up with a formula for the optium amount of food per person so no one would be starving and no one would be over weight. They could hand these out at the morning excercise program we'd be forced to attend each morning. After all like seat belts since the government is paying for health care nothing is more important than preventive medicine.

The fuel economy standards for cars don't go far enough. Approximately 40,000 deaths can be linked to the lighter cars built to comply with the last round of fuel economy standards. This could be solved by reducing the types of cars to only one. The maximum federal speed limit needs to be reduced to 5 mph. Not only will we get better gas mileage but injuries and deaths on the highway will be greatly reduced. If it only saves one life it will be worth it.

We should all get the same pay. The guy that just shows up for 40 hrs per week and goofs off 35 hrs should make the same as the guy that puts in 80 hrs of hard work. I'll take that goof off job thanks.

I can't believe that there'd be anyone out there whose life is so screwed up that they think the government needs to exert MORE control over them.

Everyone should strive to get the government off of your TV, out of your bedroom, and out of your wallet.

Far too much and it continually worsens. I want the government out of my life.

Anytime you hear these words "It's for your own good.", that means more intrusion and less freedom.
