The ones around here the service is terrible and people block all the aisles. I will pay twice as much for stuff not to go to walmart.

I will only shop at WM as a last resort. Seems like everytime I would go in, they were always stocking the shelves and they still never have half the crap I am looking for. The employees at the local WM are the rudest and laziest ever.

WM is 2 miles away and Target is 25 miles. I'll drive to Target.

I truly hate Wal-Mart. A friend gave me a gift certificate there once so I had to go. I had a circular in my hand as was able to point to exactly what I wanted and no one would help me. The furniture associate told me in was in office supplies, the office supply associate told me no in was in furniture. The place was dirty and disorganized. I finally picked out different stuff just to blow the certificate and get out of there and then the check out line was way slow to boot.

The parking lot was a nightmare too. Do all Wal-Mart shoppers drive like maniacs?

In the end, I went to Target and found exactly what I'd wanted in the first place. I've since retrained my friend to give me Borders certificates. Never again will I go to Wal-Mart.

Have you seen the new commercials about Wal-Mart? They are put out by a "buy American" union. It claims that Wal-Mart is buying from China and getting cheaper stuff to sell at a low cost. They want us to write Wal-Mart and tell them to come back to being an American store. I'm liking that place less and less all the time.

i dislike shopping @ wal-mart, but i live in a rural town and unfortunately, wally world has the best prices ...
the service at our wal-mart really bites, evidently most of them were hired to simply stand around and roll their eyes when someone asks them something.
i NEVER go during "peak" week-end hours ... always early in the morning or really late @ night

I like the stuff at Wal-Mart and the employees. The people that shop there can be extremely rude though! And around here, all you find there are hicks. I feel like I'm going to a lower level when I shop there.

No, I love it. There is always something there that I can use and it's usually at a reasonable price. I also get a lot of exercise there. Just yesterday, I logged over 1500 steps on the $4 pedometer I bought there...in just 45 minutes. So that was pretty cool, eh?

Oh, and this has nothing to do with the fact that I'll be working in one later this week. :)

Honey, is that you? LOL My hubbie feels the same way. There are WalMart Neighborhood Grocery Stores where we live, and I don't mind those at all. Never get produce there, but it's ok. It's like a normal sized market. Big WalMarts, hate 'em for the same reasons you do.

I definitely hate shopping at Wal-Mart.

As I look around, I find that the shelves are almost always in disarray, parents not diciplining their children, long lines at the registers, 20 registers and only 5 are actually open, and a crowded parking lot with tiny spaces...

Yeah it sucks.

Wal mart is the only big box store in my area. Its a big joke at x-mas when you open your gift and you know where they got it from. I think the people that work at wal mart are grumpy and unprofessional! They ***** about work while they are checking me out, and its just rude. I got my own problems I dont need to hear about yours, is what I want to tell them
