I know that colleges look at semester grades, but do they look at the final exam grades?

Thanks!

I'm a HS freshman. I'm not applying...it's just that I did very verrryyyy horribly on my finals. But my grades are just fine. Can colleges see that my exam grades were poor?

No they do not look at exam grades, they just have access to your course grades.

Yes and they look at your school records back to 1st grade, they research your ancestry and your grooming habits. Your shoe size is also important...

... Don't worry just read the entrance criteria - they'll tell you what they require. Its not likely that they will look at individual exam scores but more likely your overall grade point average.

no......as a matter of fact....the decision to accept you or not is made before the second semester of senior year is over....so those second semester grades do not count either.....except for some scholarships.
