Well I'm a vegetarian, so I don't see them as pieces of meat.. I will say some are a waste or skin and oxygen. :) But not all... I usually base my judgement off the person, not a generalize about a group. :)

I think every individual has some good in them.
We all care about something.
We are all capable of emotions.
Because of all the above, it's impossible for me to view human beings as slabs of meat.
Maybe when your boyfriend gets his heart broken for the first real time (or experiences some other type of deep emotion), he'll feel differently.

my general concept of humanity that were just a species of animal who happen to be the most destructive on the planet...my concept of an individual person is definitely based on what they say and do...slabs of meat? well i guess your boyfriend doesnt have too high an opinion of himself...or else he's just a solipsist or egomaniac of some sort...

I agree with you.
But I think you should have a concern about your bf - based on what you said then he sees you as a slab of meat as well. Doesn't sound like much of a bf to me.
