It seems like everyone blames George Bush for anything that goes wrong. I'll admit, I don't like the guy and I think we could have a better person in office but he's not the blame for everything. He's blamed for the hurricane katrina rescuers not showing up in a timely manner, he's blamed for the war, gas prices, interest rates, high taxes, oil profits, he's blamed for bringing the towers down in NY. I'm tired of people blaming one another. Even in divorces, spouses blame each other and see no fault in themselves. Grow up people!!!! Only children blame each other. Blame yourselves for high gas prices. You drive those huge navigators and expeditions to the corner store when you can just walk there or ride a bike.

I understand you are fed up with all the fingers pointing at George Bush. I only have a few things to say about that. No, George Bush might not be to blame for everything in this world but majority of it is his fault. Hurricane Katrina, no it is not his fault that a hurricane came and totally destroyed a city. But when FEMA didn't show up and do what they were suppose to do, he could've done something about FEMA. Is he the president or not? When the president speak, everyone suppose to move. NOw suppose that happened all over the USA, how would you feel? You are hungry and dehydrated with your wife and kids. These people suppose to come and save yall but no one show up? President does nothing about getting on their behind. One of your children dies in the process, how would you feel? HoneST, how would you feel?
The war, gas prices, etc., you know yourself it is the president FAULT. He is the one who made those guys and girls go over there to fight a war which none of them understands. We are losing tons and tons of money and the president doesn't seem to even care. There are mothers/fathers burying their child each and everyday. My heart goes out to those people when I see they have lost their child to a war that was unnecessary. They still haven't accomplished NOTHING but they are still over there fighting and dying. Bush is held responsible and I don't care what you might think. If he care, why can't he shipped those girls/guys back home? Tell me that? He doesn't care. Gas prices are not up b/c of navigators and expeditions. They are up b/c of this stinken war. Call your president and talk to him about the huge gas increase b/c he doesn't care, he already has money. What about the people who don't have money? They are living from pay check to pay check. Cost of living is going up and the majority of the Americans are not getting any more money. It is sad and is heartless but GEorge Bush did it. I hate to seem as if I'm picking on him but every time I turn on the television, there is something said about Bush doing something. Drafting more soldiers or something. And you want to know why everyone is blaming bush for everything??? Because he is the one responsible for the topics you just named.
On the marriage issue, I agree with you. In a marriage, we all need to look at ourselves not just the husband or the wife. A marriage includes two people NOt one. It is alot of hard work and comprimising. I will tell anyone marriage is difficult and you really have to work hard at it.
Your topic was a good topic but until Bush get out of office, the better we all will be. I'm just hurt about how many of our soldiers are dying. YOUNG men and women!!!! May god bless!!!!!

OK, I don't know what this has to do with Marriage and Divorce, but blame is definitely not the answer to solving any problems between a man and a women, however, G B is the president of the United States and he is in a top position of responsibility, and when someone is in such a position, and things go wrong then he is the one to blame DUUUHHH!
In any case I read some of the answers below and you are so misinformed about what is going on in Iraq it is not funny anymore. People are getting killed daily, there is no security in the country ever since the war started, and that is because the old government was dismantled without any measures to ensure a total break down does not happen. Well there is a total break down and the government that you are saying is being created is a total fabrication of the USA government, just like Saddam was, no one is benefiting from this was but the USA government and Israel, and by the way the Taliban were in Afghanistan not IRAQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could go on for pages but it's really not the place to do so, but I had to write something!!

The citizens....... The government is a reflection of the people. The apathy and moral decay on the part of the citizens is responsible. Congress runs the country not the President. The citizens elects the Congress and then ignores what they do when times are good, only when times are bad do they look for where to place the blame. The average American is deep in debt and spends 120% of what they earn, then gripe when Congress does the same thing. They demand that Congress enact legislation to regulate everything in the country then gripe about losing their liberties. There is no Constitutional authority for an EPA let alone the laws and regulations passed by the federal government.

No doubt blaming someone has become very common in America and in many western societies.

But you can't confuse government and public services with families. Bush was the head of his administration and the bucks stop with him. When people under him don't perform, Bush has to act. When people blame him, they don't need him to resign. They blame him for choosing the wrong person (as it was evident that the head of FEMA was incompetent but an appointee of Bush) and also want him to take action, which usually entails head rolling. That is both politics and normal government operations. When tax-payers' money is at stake, there has to be check and balance and someone has to take the fall when there is failure.

Bush took America to the wars in Afganstan and Iraq too hastily and underestimated what it would take.

George Bush is the president of the United States. As such he will be blamed for a great deal, even though he might not be responsible. Some of the things you mentioned he IS responsible for, but I agree with you. People often blame the president for what is wrong even if it isn't the president's fault.

One question: why is this in the "Marriage and Divorce" section?

People r so used to blaming, that they will go to any extent to blame anyone who would seem a target, irrespective of the persons involvement or not.

What u have name Bush is only the tip of the iceberg.

Go 2 ur church u fill find the preacher blaming someone, the list is long.
People r so used to gossip that even if u go and hear the gossip, maybe u will also be a target of that group.
Habits die hard.

I'm guessing that people like to blame Bush for everything because they want to blame someone and i guess he seems like a good person to blame for everything. Personally i think we're doing good things in the war. Saddam's out of power and Iraq is working on a new government. We had a exchange student from that area of the Middle East and he was very glad that America is there because everyone has freedoms they weren't allowed when the Taliban was in their country.

War? He authorized it. Lied about it. Didnt listen to experts on the subject, and still doesnt. If they dissagree with him, he gets rid of them.
Katrina disaster? He didnt send in the appropriate resources untill it was a national media disaster. He is the president and can make that happen in the snap of his fingers. He clearly didnt give a s*#t.
Gas prices? See war answer above.
NY towers? Not his fault.
Worlp polotics? He is a pompus jack a**, and no one wants to work with someone like that.
Clinton was a genius in that dept. He could make friends with anyone. Thats very important, particularly in this time of terrorism.

People need to comfort themselves by blaming everyone else for things. Stupidity is very common in the USA - why are you surprised?

I agree with you!
I was watching Dick Morris on the O'Rilley factor the other night and he has a new book out called Outrage that tells of all kinds of corruption in Washington. It is not all Bush's fault. I am not "into" politics but I might just go get this book.
