Well, the Eastern Roman Empire finally fell in 1453 when the Ottoman Turks invaded Byzantium. That was well over 500 years ago, but the memory of Rome still lives on!

well, there are 2 things wrong with your question.
1st: we´re not an empire, i think maybe we should change to one, just take over all the middle east, all of everything, cuz you know we could.... yet we don´t... why do you think that is? ahh right, we believe every human being has 3 things that no one can ever take away from them.

- liberty
- and the persuit of happiness
2. fallen, USA is never gonna fall. we might stumble a little bit here and there, but it simply ain´t gonna happen... when times get rough, americans come together and derive our strength from troubled times... unlike where every i assume you´re from....
