Both, it is a long and winding rollercoaster ride.
It is full twists and turns, highs and lows.
Just when you think you are on the straight and narrow, there always seems to be a big drop that comes up. Just when you think that you can't get any lower - there's another drop. But you can't keep going down for ever - so sooner or later you claw your way up and give yourself a little more elevation.
It kind of like a rollercoaster in a tunnel - you really can't see that far ahead.
It also has side tunnels that you can take too, but you still can't see around the corner.
The key is too hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

wow good question it could be both like for a long time I viewed my life as a rollercoaster with all the ups and downs and I felt like I didn't have control over it but as I got older I started to look at more like a path or a winding road where at times I would come to that fork in the road and have to choose which way to go and sometimes I feel like I take a wrong turn and get lost but eventually find my way back home. Life is nothing but decisions and each decision you make teaches you a lesson in life.

I would have to go with winding road more than rollercoaster. Although, there is alot of ups and downs, I believe that life is more twists and turns than just straight up and downs. Also. rollercoasters are always kinda fast, bumpy, and just consistently nuts with only a few seconds to take a deep breath. Now, there are times in everybodys life where its like that but, most of the time i think life is more just twists and turns and you just get in and keep going to you get to your next destination.

That is a difficult question........it could be one or the other, or even both. After losing my first husband in a car accident 27 years ago in a car accident, then my youngest son in a motorcycle accident just 7 months ago, I would tend to think of it more as a long and winding road, with many very unexpected and mean twists in it. What makes it a bad road isn't the twists, but rather, how you drive on those twists, and how you handle yourself. Sometimes its harder and takes a little more effort, but you can always handle yourself well when you need to.

I would like to view it as a roller coaster but this would be completely inaccurate. A roller coaster is something you have no control over, there is someone else operating the controls and the track has been built by others. Life is more like a drive in that you have control of the car just not always the road.

I think life's more like a long and winding road-

it has different paths you can choose to whereas a roller coaster has only one path which you have no choice to follow...

I think this question's answer varies and is different to everyone, depending on if you believe in fate or not. (fate would be the roller coaster option)

Sometimes it's a train wreck.

For me it's a rollercoaster going higher each year.

Both, depending upon where you're at in life and which direction you choose. Other times, life is a long, seemingly endless stretch of open highway.
