We will be long dead. When the sun goes to the red giant stage it will swallow up the Earth, even Mars, and incinerate them in a matter of an instant. By this time, all life will probably have ceased on the entire planet. We have a few billion years before this happens, so I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you.

That could be another 7 billion years. It's just not possible to speculate about what might happen that far in the future.
