that's part of being a mom. You'll lose your figure and some lucky women get their body back in shape and some don't. After having my son, my tummy had terrible stretch mark and was saggin also. Jiggles everytime I walk. I understand how you feel. But it will get better as time pass. My tummy was beginning to become smaller and less saggier after 3 years until now...I am pregnant again! So im gonna have to wait another few more years for my tummy to go small and stuff. As for now, just exercise a lot (running and lots of AB work out)

That's part of giving birth and should have been one of the things thought about before having a baby. Additionally, the more weight you gain in pregnancy - the worse the stretchmarks and sagging is. The stretch marks will lighten over time. Lotion them regularly and you can use Mederma - but neither one is a quick fix - it can take a couple of months to have a noticable difference. As for the saggyness, try to do crunches to tone it up, but it'll never be the way it was before you were pregnant - only a tummy tuck could fix that and you're right it's expensive and if you get pregnant again, you'll be right back in the same boat with wasted money. Wait until you're all done having kids and have the surgery later.

uggh I'd love to slap that person up side the head! I am so sorry someone was that rude. It has NOTHING to do with taking care of your tummy. You can HELP ease the stretch marks by using creams and I've heard of baby oil but it all depends on the skins natural elasticity. I went to beauty school and it all makes sense when you learn about the skin and the layers. Some people are very lucky and their skin can stretch without marks or hardly any. That's just in their chemistry. Here;s a good example: my step sister. At 19 when your skin has lots of elsticity and moisture, she at 97lbs and 5'2 carried my niece who was a little over 8lbs when she was born. Her tummy now sags and has lots of stretch mark scars. She is a very tiny person and it has NOTHING to do with not taking care of your stomach. Yeah she is embarressed and doesn't show it off anymore but that little girl was the best thing to cause those marks.

Okay here goes. I was nineteen when I had my first baby, and had the same problem. heres the thing you're belly can be covered by longer shirts, and obviously no bakinis lol. The streatch marks will fade with time; but are perminate. No amount of creams, or anything else is going to change that. What is good about this is that over time you will become comfortable with you're new body, and even overlook it. I understand you are only nineteen, and it is stylish to wear revieling clothing but honestly you can stay covered, and be a hundered times better looking than the girls who feel the need to have parts hangging out. Another positive is I bet you have a womanly figure now that most girls you're age wouldn't. Feel comfortable with yourself, and try to remember that it is other things about a person that make them beautiful.

Yeah i would tell you not to waste your money on strivectin or anything like that. Those things are temporary and expensive. If you go to google type in TCA chemical peel, or alpha hydroxy peel you should get a few web sites that sell these peels . They cost around 80 dollars and they do work. These are dangerous but if used properly and at low concentration they are affective. I had mine removed with a tca peel after i had twins. The peel actually takes a few layers of skin at a time. It can take a few treatments but it works. It brings back the tone and texture. Youcan do these at home just make sure you read the instructions. Peple freak out when i tell them about it but if you dont want invasive surgery its the only other thing that will work. Just go and get some info about it then you can make a decision that best comforts you.

Ifyour skin is saggy due to the stretchmarks there isnt much that will help because your muscles/tissues have been broken and seperated. Surgery is the only cure.
Trust me, I feel your pain...I have 2 kids and my first did the most damage and I'm stuck until I can save up for a tummy tuck.
The amount of weight you gain has nothing to do with how bad your stomach looks after a pregnancy. I only gained 18lbs with each of my children and my stomach is a hot mess, looks like I gained 80lbs with each one.

Being that you're 19 yrs old, your skin still has a lot of elasticity. Drinking a lot of water will help to give your skin a more youthful and softer appearance. Aloe vera body wraps will also help to firm sagging skin, smooth the appearance of cellulite, and diminish the appearance of stretch marks. They are a detoxifying wrap and not a water loss. However, at 19 and on anti-depressants for a negative self-image, what kind of example are you setting for a1yr old who loves his mother unconditionally? I also suggest throwing out the pre-baby threads and find something less revealing you'll feel more comfortable and confident in. True beauty shines from within! Love Yourself!

There isn't really anything that works for streach marks I have tried everything. I was putting lotion on every day while I was pregnant and that didn't even help. As far as the saggy stomach work out & eat right.

Just accept that having a baby is hard on a woman's body and changes her permanently (not accounting for surgery, of course). You can exercise and eat well to get rid of any tummy fat, but the skin will always be loose unless you have a tummy tuck. Instead of being depressed that you can't wear your old clothes, just donate them all to some kind of shelter or something and take the opportunity to completely reinvent your wardrobe.

Stress marks are there for life, that is the bad side of having a child.I am surprised you did not go to classes before and after birth of your child. No surgery is needed if you follow the advise of your doctor. There should be leaflets in the hospital plus your doctors office.Good luck and keep in touch. If that doesn't get you anywhere, the web has lots to offfer.
