You say that as if peace is the goal of life... peacefulness isn't my goal... restlessness is far more productive, exciting, ever-changing and wonderful.

I never want to sit still... I never want to be at peace with where I am, and always want to continue to grow and change.

I am at peace with the past, because it is something that cannot change. The past, every pain and every joy, has made me who I am and is setting me up for how I deal with the present. I am at peace with the past because reliving the past is no way to spend the present. I consider the mistakes of the past, but do not dwell on them.

Good question! And the answer depends on how you define "peace". I define peace as "having mastery over my own reaction to the events and circumstances occurring in my life." If I can choose my actions from a place of joy, love, integrity, abundance, and celebrate what is good, encouraging and uplifting to myself and others, not only have I mastered my own life, I contribute powerfully to the love, peace and harmony that is integral to the outcomes in the life of others. Those practices that contribute to being able to actually do that, are what we need to pursue in order to achieve peace in our lives.

Chief among those practices is this: Look for the good in everyone and in everything, including yourself. Follow your heart, your inner voice. Seek out those things that bring joy to yourself and others. You will attract peace to you from many sources.

Peace comes from being peaceful yourself. Monks, Mystics and Yogis are specialists in this field. If you are not familiar with what I am saying, just start with some simple yoga practices. That will give you a good start.

peace- the age old burning question- how do we achieve peace? through having faith in something beyond ourselves- if you have religion- and you truly believe then peace will come- if you dont have religion but you believe in the power of nature- then become one with nature and peace will come- the only way to be truly happy and at peace is to believe in something beyond yourself

By doing good to our fellow human beings. Stop fearing fear. If we can stop that, we can be at ease within ourselves, and also set goals that you want to achieve. By doing that we don't have time to let the little things pull us down.

Jesus said:'Peace I give to you, my own peace I give to you; I do not give it as the world does. Do not be afraid.'

Pray.
