Yes, I have heard of this and is often discussed in my Yahoo IVF group. The core of the pineaplle is best but the juice will also work, but it must be the pure juice. What works in the pineapple is an enzyme called Bromelian that may assist the body during times of physical stress and fight inflammation, specifically the ovaries and help minimize uterine contractions from an embryo transfer or insemination and I would think it would even work during a natural cycle.

I drank pineapple juice and ate pineappe during my two week wait after my IVF cycle (failed). Although it is not proven and not a cure all it is one of those things that is worth the try to many.

Not sure about pineapple juice, but try vitex. It's a herbal supplement that regulates your cycle and helps with ovulation. I began taking it in April, my period 3 days later (first one since December), and I'm now 5 weeks pregnant. I had honestly given up. Vitex is great!
