Nope, Fred Thompson was a tweener.

To young for Korea, to old for Vietnam.

He was already 27 years old with 3 children by the time Vietnam started heating up.

Why do people try and pidgion hole Thompson as an actor ?

He has more Senate experience than Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama or John Edwards.

He has been a US Attorney.

He was part of the Watergate investigation.

Now that does not make any sense at all if how a person talks equates to if he/she served in the military.
If you met me and heard how I talk you would say the same thing and I do talk tough and I did serve in the military as well, but it also has to do with were I grew up the environment that I had to live in to stand my ground and let people know I'm not one to play around with, and that could be the same way with Fred Thompson, with all that he has done and seen and a no nonsense person like I am gives him that tough persona it has nothing to do with if you served in the military or not.

What difference does it make if he was to young for Korea and too old for Vietnam. That didn't keep him from serving in the military. What you should have said was he either got lucky or he just dodged the draft.

Why does it matter Bill didn't and was quoted in saying how much he loathed the military. but the Dems are going to make it an issue with Thompson. He has served his country in other ways. Follow the link.

He is full of a lot of hot air and he thinks he is being slick by bypassing debates and issues. He is a very LAZY man (according to some of his former Senate aides) and we don't need anymore vacationing presidents in the White House that for damn sure. We got one now and you see what we got. You have been forewarned!

I believe the answer is no. But I dont want another actor. The last one fool all of you. We need a real live person who cares not a joker nor a talker but a President that gives a damn about the human races.
