At her request (and my preference, I confess), I wax my girl friend's genitalia. We use a hard wax, apply in the direction of the hair growth, press the muslin firmly to the wax, and pull back (not up) sharply. We get great results if you measure success in per cent hair removed.

My question is how to prevent severe irritation when waxing immediately next to her labia. The skin gets very red and somewhat swollen. What techniques or products will reduce this irritation?

I use moisturising cream after I get waxed in that area. It seems to work fine for me. But bear in mind that the more you wax, the less irritation you will get over time.

Have her take some motrin at least an hour before you do it. That will help with some pain she has and reduce the irritation to the skin since it is an anti inflammatory drug.

use conditioner on the area after youve soaked her gentalia in warm water after a waxing. it works a treat then rinse it off
