Firstly, I'm sorry if I'm offending any women out there but this is something sure I'm not wrong about. If you think I am wrong I am happy to hear what you've got to say about it.
I'm 39 years old so I've been around a while now and I'm sure a lot of women I've come across seem to enjoy getting men in an aggrovated state. This is not just from my experience of ex girlfriends but also of female relatives and work colleagues and social occasions.
Does it give you a sense of power to influence men's emotions? Do some women find it entertaining or even erotic to see a man get fiesty? Is it that a good arguement clears the air? Is it something I'm doing? Am I talking rubbish?
Please help me with this one girls

They THRIVE on conflict. They present a problem and we offer an immediate solution to the problem and they're not happy. They don't want a solution. They want angst. Without angst, they feel powerless. Why do you think they gossip incessantly? Why do you think the tabloids are so popular? Why do you think those stupid-*** daytime talk shows are so popular? It's all about angst.
They could be horribly upset about world hunger, you could solve it, and they would not be happy. And the older they are, the worse it gets. They want crusades (think Joan of Arc). Think about NOW. Think about women's suffrage.
If it wasn't for the icky sex, I suspect more men would be gay.

well some may basically get off on it which is screwy but whatever floats your boat i guess...
others it maybe out of pure frusteration.. if you cant make the guy listen get him angry so he cares...
if both parties have been stewing over a problem then yes a good arguement clears the air...
i know i personally feel if theres a prob then talk about it so if im upset over something i say so which works for us because both believe in the whole "dont go to bed angry" thing
but you need to understand yes there are girls that do that on purpose it gives em a "high" HOWEVER there are guys who do that too for the "high"
if you find you draw that "type" of woman to you then take advantage of it and enjoy the great make up sex. ;)

Sorry to hear you seem to be surrounded by women like that. Not all of us are like that though. I try to keep my friends and family in high spirits, whether they be male or female. I am a kinda chilled person anyway, so i don't let things get to me and I don't live to wind other people up, it does nothing for me.
You might be right about the power trip thing,or it could be an sub/Dom thing, who knows. I am not one who does this so I can't shed much light on it.
It could be that is the way they have been treated before and so push that on to their current/next relationship. Maybe they are looking for a reaction and so test all the buttons until they hit the one that causes instant fireworks...just so they know they can do it.

Um... I think you can be right about some girls perhaps. However, I think it is more a case of girls are on a different level emotionally. Far from trying to aggravate, I think women just push things because they want their man to understand, but when they don't, the man will get aggravated because he doesn't know where the woman is coming from.
I don't find it entertaining to aggravate a man, in fact I will do all I can to placate them! Why don't you have a read of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. It's very insightful to the different perspectives men and women have of life and of each other. You might find that you are just reading these women wrong.... Or you might just be hanging around the wrong women! ;-)

Me personally I normally date men who can not show any emotion, meaning I can't even get them to discuss things with me. It's either they get angry and freak out or they don't say anything at all. I will get them worked up most of the time so that I can get some sort of response. I mean do you really know what it feels like to speak to a wall? It is frustrating when someone is trying to situate something and the other person shows no emotion, it's actually not really fair. It's not fair either to just assume that women would want to push your buttons for no reason, trust me there is reason you just aren't taking the time to find that reason. Good Luck!

Im not trying to be sexist here but, my bf is in THAT SAME catagory that you describe. So, im not sure that your theory is totally correct. My bf likes to wind me up to get angry. He is a nag & he is always in my face when we have a problem. So, i think some men are as bad as the women you are referring to.
