No, I think it was just a 'good friend' thing, I think that due to her memory very few fish would actually put up with Dory for very long, but at last she found a 'true' friend in Marlin. While she ended up living with nemo/marlin, I don't actually think they (Disney) were trying to imply that they were together as a couple.

Marlin, he was doing the best he could as a single Dad and managed to raise a very good boy. When he said Nemo was too young to go to school and he could start next year...I know the feeling too well! Plus I love Albert Brooks and could listen to him read the phone book.

Actually I liked that liked that little shrimp thing that cleans the tank in the doctors office with the French accent. He's really funny. I also like the pigeons...Mine! Mine! Mine!
