Absolutely not. That's one of the reasons the democrats have a hard time winning. They preach that they're want to help me then turn a blind eye while some illegal takes our job for a fraction of the cost. And please don't hand us that 'they do the jobs nobody wants' , they're working in factory's and underbidding us on construction jobs.

Any Republican, especially a House Rep., who supports this illegal amnesty bill is commiting political suicide. McCain tops that list.
It is our own government's negligence, incompetence and failure to secure our borders - EVEN AFTER 9/11 - that has fostered all the problems we have with our broken immigration system. Sweeping the problem under a carpet of blanket amnesty (AGAIN - 1st time was 1986) is just another whitewash job because these elitist career politicians are too lazy and self-serving to take on a difficult task.
Since we have every reason to believe that there are terrorists in our country illegally, it is treasonous to assit them by legitimizing their presence in our midst, making them more comfortable and effective by being at liberty in public.

No, they shouldn't nor will they.
This immigration bill is no salvation...if anything its his newest height of stupidity. This bill is utter trash, and the Presidents backing of it is completely foolish.
The bill is dead. Bush needs to get over the denial thing and move on with the grieving process.
You have quite the imagination to believe that only Republicans bring in illegal immigrants for work purposes. Quite naive in fact.

No..the claim that this secures the border is laughable...the '86 amnesty was to fix the problems...all it did was incur more.
There is no way they are going to be able to determine if the person went back and waited to enter legally. There is also the issue of sending back the head of household..does that mean the since the bread winner is sent back..the rest of the family can collect welfare?
We can have a bill that secures the border..without amnesty.
I see years of court battles to interpret the bill...there's to many holes.

No. A wall should be built and NO they should not be given citizenship. They are uneducated and simple-minded and this whole ploy is to water down the voter base. The dumber the electorate the easier is is to pass all kinds of idiotic social programs. By the way, I know plenty of liberal democrats who employ these unwashed "immigrant" invaders. Bush is strong abroad and weak at home. His policy on these parasites is apalling. For each dollar they pay in tax on goods they receive SIX dollars back in social programs. Don't forget that their kids all go to your kids schools for free and they "dumb" down the test scores and that lowers the funding! Build the wall and throw them all back over it when it is completed.

Once again we see the influence of corporations over the will of the people. The illegals should be deported and we should put effective controls on our borders. Rewarding those that break our laws should be limited to elected officials like it used to be.

So you think all business owners are republican do you? LOL
Why is it the democrats are the ones pushing this bill? Why did illegal immigration get out of hand? Democrats like LBJ. Reagan fell for their amnesty crap once, I will not fall for it. Democrats need to pull their heads out of their asses and get on their senators or they will see this problem continue to only get bigger and bigger.

No! I so do not believe in amnesty for illegals, especially when there are a lot of people waiting to come to this country legally. I don't know why the president's so for this????

This just goes to show you that we are not all blind followers. Just because Bush supports something does not mean we all will.
Cheers and have a nice day!
