Firstly for those who think it´s an F.A decision...Wrong! it´s a PL decision.
Secondly... Tevez kept West Ham up, he did not relegate Sheffield United on the last game of the season they did it themselves. People can bleat on about how many points Tevez earnt but it doesn´t alter the fact that he never put West Ham out of touch of relegation and the chance for Sheffield Utd to survive was theirs for the taking.
Realistically it is possible for the panel to have to judge again and deduct West Ham points as it would be within the PL´S powers. However i do not see that happening for many reasons.
1. The decision was made by an agreed panel, and all agreed to abide by it´s decision.
2. Should they decide to reverse the decision and give a points deduction West Ham will not remain quiet, and remember there has been cases in the past that have been given points deduction, and have been won on appeal due to similar circumstances. And i don´t mean the rule.
3. This whole saga will drag on for months, so i think that if anything other than nothing changes is going to happen, it will be some monetary compensation awarded to Sheffield United. (With tongue in cheek, followed by a hefty fine for bringing the game in to disrepute.)

Of course it is possible. It is within the ability of the Premier League to do so.
I suspect that what is more likely is a reinstatement of Sheffield United without relegation of West Ham, which would still not be fair, not least to all those other clubs who were fined points not cash for less serious 'crimes'. It would at least redress the balance against United and would probably draw a line under the matter. But I would still rather see WH face the appropriate penalty for their admitted behaviour.

I feel sorry for Sheffield Utd fans too. I know towards the end of the season West Ham did well to stay up but most of that was because of Tevez.
5.5m is nothing and they do deserve to be docked points but I can't really see it happening now. Sheffield Utd shouldn't have been relegated but I'll be surprised if they do get reinstated.

No. Is 5.5m being let off, I couldn't afford that sort of fine. They were fined 3 times more than the previous biggest fine. As the error was clerical, this is what the fine was for.
Sheffield were 10 points clear of West Ham, and threw it away. Besides Warnock is a moron, and they played crap football.

it is very unlikely!
i think that even if West Ham are charged by the FA and points are deducted it will be done at the beginning of next season! this means they will start with minus 10 points!
if they changed the results of last season then it would have such a financial effect of West ham that i think they would go into administration!

I think there s no away for sheffield to stay in. I think west ham have made it unless they decide to deducted points of west ham which is unlikey because west ham have already been fined

YES IT IS!!!!!! (AT LEAST I HOPE SO)
West ham united were fined but that is not enough
they were caught breaking league rules and they should have got a points deduction
i hope they give the west Ham the point deduction that they deserve and i hope that Sheffield united stay up
i felt so sorry for them
have a nice day

This is getting bloody ridiculous now. If I was a Sheffield Utd supporter I would hang my head in shame. Their fate was in their own hands, and they bottled it. The decision was made but the crying continues.

Sheffield Utd were shite and lets face it deserved to go down. Why dont they just get over it and crack on for next season. I would much rather see WHU in the prem than the footballing expertise of SU. Ha!
