Well unfortunately for her (but not for you) you can't just not sign paperwork and have it go away. Go to JAG asap and talk to them and they'll tell you what you need to do (or give you a list of approved attorneys)
Whatever you do don't stay with her. Get away from her and do what you can legally to get your money away from her. While my husband was deployed there were quite a few guys who were totally ripped off by their wives and came home to nothing (some even took the poor guys clothes with them!) You deserve better and can find better. There are plenty of women out there that actually love their army husband and not just the benefits they can give them!
Good luck!

She does not have to sign the paper work. You can have her served and if she does not respond, when the time limit is up in the area where you file, it will go into default and the divorce will be granted just like you filed for it and she will not have any recourse. She would be stupid not to seek advice from her own lawyer. Just make sure the papers read how you want them to read, so that if she does not sign, you do not get stuck with a bad deal. The day your divorce is final, go have her removed from your DEERS and ask her for her ID. If she refuses to surrender her ID, then notify your command and have a copy of your divorce papers and then they can handle the rest.

Sorry to hear this, thank you for serving in the Army. You have some good answers that answer your question but ask a lawyer on how to go about this, and to get it done right the first time around.

this is 35% of all marriages....and I say that as a ficicious number..because I feel that with a divorce rate of nearly 50-60% these days...35% stay together merely for the children and nothing more...he can't afford child payments for 1-2 or 3 kids and she needs his work benefits if she isn't working...
it is BAD way to go...but I can imagine SEVERAL marriages in this situation ....

Please do no longer take this the incorrect way ok yet heavily you in all probability drove her nuts with all the God communicate! Having faith is staggering yet being obsessed over it somewhat is yet another element. How am i able to permit you recognize are by each and every thing you in straightforward terms wrote. She in all probability looks like she replaced into residing in a container and being controlled by you. i think of people blow it way out of element what they think of a good and a bad Christian is no person can say who's and who isn't for particular. in straightforward terms God can decide why people do no longer hear to the bible on that i will in no way understand. My ex husband replaced into so into being a good Christian and God talks and this and that. He did no longer word that there is existence exterior the church and existence does bypass on and as with all individual each and every human does sin and issues ensue. I instructed him the samething she instructed you it somewhat is to overdue and that i've got no regrets what so ever approximately it. FYI your spouse ought to ought to no longer stay unsleeping on your criteria or Gods i will permit you in on a sprint of a few thing alright God needs all of us to be their very own individual and be who they do no longer look to be stay as much as anothers criteria. using fact of this i'm against org faith it somewhat is extra like being in a cult than it somewhat is extremely showing admire to God!

you do not need "papers" to be signed by her in order for there to be a divorce - sure, it would make it easier, but it can be done.
Call the lawyer...talk to your superiors in the Army...
By the way, Thank You for all that you do and sacrifice for our country!

you can go through the legal system and try to get a no contest signature ask your lawyer. it is where they are there and no matter what the paper work gets signed weather they contest to it or not.

Go to your JAG office and ask them for help. You don't need her to sign. She can get called to court and if she doesn't appear, a judge can still grant you the divorce.

I guess you want this over because you don't want her to fool around behind your back. And you can't move on. I am sure the military have a way to deal with it.
