Well, they only use their feet when they start up--the rest of the time they just glide along merrily. (Don't believe me? Watch the cartoon.) I guess they figure a very hard start is easier than using their poor feet through the whole walk.

Only the driver had to start the car with his feet, so the passengers could save there feet. But Fred had the choice of radio station if he was driving.

ITS A CARTOON!!!! they never make sense, the point was that they use their feet to gain speed, then coast along using their feet at intervals!!!! thats what they done in the stone age lol!!!!
