You could be. The home tests, even the super sensitive ones, aren't always sensitivie enough, especially this early. Wait a few days and see if you're late and then test again. I know it's hard to wait, but it's a long 9 month wait whether you find out today or next week. Good luck!

I used First Response Rapid Result test on the exact day I was expecting my period, and I got a positive result. I used it a week prior and got a negative result. So maybe you're just not far enough to get the positive. (Different tests can pick up of different levels of the pregnancy hormone) I never used the clearblue easy, but if your doubting the results, get a different brand, wait a few days and try again.

Go with your gut. I know there's no science behind it, but I just "had a feeling". So if you have that feeling, and you keep getting negatives, make an appointment with your doc.

Good luck! Hope you get the result your working for!

Hi, i bought a twin pack of those. I did one 4 days before my period was due and got negative.I then did the other one 2 days later and got negative. I didnt want to spend a load more money so i bought an ASDA's own brand one and tested the day my period was due and got a positive.Like you, i had such a strong feeling that i was and im now 14 weks.So if you feel that you are, i would suggest buying a cheaper brand and waiting till the day your period is due then test again. It can take a couple of days after your period to get a positive so keep trying. Good luck and i hope it works out for you x

If you read the instructions it tells you you have to test the first urine of the day. 4 days early the test is only 51%accurate, 3 days early 82% accurate, 2 days 90%, 1 day 95%. wait a few days and test again. I hope you get the result you want x x

Aww, this is really frustrating, isn't it? I remember back when I was trying to conceive I would test and test and test. It really depends on when you ovulated and how fast the fertilized egg implants. Clearblue may detect a very small level of hormone (HCG) but that hormone will not be there until the egg implants, and yours may implant late. My daughter didn't implant until 7 days after ovulation, and it took another couple days for the hormone level to be high enough to show up on a test. I didn't get a positive until a couple days after my period was due.

i did a clearblue test 4 days early - neg, 3 days early - ever so faint line i kept going up to the window, looking at it. 2 days early - clearblue digital - positive. keep trying everyday if you cant wait, thats what i did, its so frustrating waiting to find out but good luck.

i was 6 weeks late before i got my first positive and i knew i was pregnant after my period was 1 day late even though every test i did came back negative i still knew i was pregnant.
I think most people do know when they are pregnant,my friend is 2 weeks late and she is still getting negative results so ive told her to go to the doctors for a blood test as they pick it up before ant hpt can do.
Good luck hun xxxx

Personally i have never got a positive test before my period was due. Have you used sample first thing in the morning - this is the most concentrated.

I would wait another few days and then re test in the morning.

Then wait until after you've missed your period...not every developes pregnancy hormones that early. Operate word being "can" be done...didn't say how accurate it was.

Then you're probably not pregnant. I would wait a few days and try again just to be sure.
