Yes, it felt like my period was coming on, and I even had some bleeding a few weeks after my pregnancy was confirmed. From what I understand it is 'breakthrough bleeding' and my body trying to cycle because the hormones weren't high enough for it to totally realize I was pg. Everything turned out great and my daughter is 9 months old now :o)

I had period like cramps when I was 4-7 weeks pregnant. It come and go. Wasn't painful or unbearable but I can feel it and just annoys me because I knew I was pregnant and that cramp just made me feel like I'm gonna have my period the next time I go to the bathroom. I've consulted my DR about it and he said it was normal as long as the pain doesn't become severe and accompany by bleeding/spotting.

I did. It drove me nuts because I was on my second cycle of IVF having had 6 IUIs and one other IVF all failed before. I had almost convinced myself that it had failed again. When I think about it, I never even thought about when my period was due because everything you do for IVF is so regimented by date.

When the day came for me to do the test (I had to take a urine sample and send it to the clinic - in the post!) and I did a home pregnancy test on the same sample and it was positive :-) My daughter is now 22 months old.

I still had the pains for a few weeks into my pregnancy - I don't know whether that was normal for pregnancy generally or whether it was an IVF/ fertility treatment thing.

No, the only way I knew I was pregnant was because I missed my next period that was due. 7 days after is was scheduled to come and never did, I took a pregnancy test. I'm now 36 weeks pregnant and still haven't bled once this entire pregnancy.

Yeah I cramped a little, bloated all the pms symptoms...for two months. It never occured to me that I was PG since I was told that I couldn't get pregnant by my doctor. About the same time I found out 9.5 weeks...the nausea kicked in. Though it wasn't too bad.

Yes I did. I had some slight cramping early in my pregnancy. And then again towards the end of my first trimester. But there was never anything wrong. If your cramping enough to make you double over, you should for sure call your doctor though. Good luck!
