why do u think paedofiles are mostly men?

I havent actually ever heard of one being a woman, is it because men have strong sexual urges all the time? what do u think? its very confusing!

They have a different brain.Right and left sides of brain has less nervous threads /fibres that join them are far less than women.That's why it's easy for them to switch off their mind and be immoral from time to time.These fibres can be developed through positive activities.Women have more nervous fibres that join the both parts of brain.

What is being found out is that the ratio of men to women pedophiles is not as high as was previously though. Women in positions of authority over young teen boys as well as girls are only marginally less likely to molest their charges. What hasn't been happening up to now is that the victims are reporting the incidents. Up to now young men have seen their molesters as conquests not seducers. It is when they are suddenly dumbed for another you person that they realize what was really happening. In the case of young girls there is a real argument as it being the single largest cause of suicide.

Although the research is still being done there is immense evidence that the ratio is almost equal divided between male and female offenders. There have been more that 8 cases in the state of Arizona in the last 12 months and the numbers seems to be growing.

i think there are more male offenders because it is harder for a female to rape a male. But sexual abuse from females to males happens quite a bit in family units and in schools. It's just not as heavily studied as the males.

There are women pedophiles for sure, but granted mostly are men.....and know why.....I really hate to say this, but men have little control over themselves........some do, most don't, that's why they cheat and do stupid **** like get drunk and screw and say i was drunk.....no control, and it's a shame really.....cause a man who can't control his body cannot run his household.

there are alot of female pedos they are just not made light of as men are. its just like female on male domestic abuse you never see it on the news but it happens plenty! also i think it may have somthing to do with boys not seeing a older woman molesting them as wrong where girls see older men doing it as wrong (in teen-agers anyway) but i work as a substance abuse coun. and i hear alot of stories in group and one to one about female on male and female on female sexual abuse. it is my belief that women are just like men just more discreet with thier vices.

Actually those female teachers that sleep with their students are pedophiles too.
I believe it has to do with the same reason most rapes are committed by men.

I think that GENERALLY men are more into sex than women. We want it more and that woudl include the sick guys who want children as well.

I suppose women could be pedophiles, also, they do molest some young people, same as men do sometimes, they are horrible people.
