I can't graph the solution for you, but:
4x + 10 < 18
4x < 8 (take away 10)
x < 2 (divide by 4)

The graph would would be a vertical line, going over 2 on the x axis. The left hand side of the graph would be shaded.

Hope this helps!

WTF GRAPH!!!!!

you graph your self

4x+10<18 and 4x+10> -18

4x < 8 and 4x > -28

x < 2 and x > -7

the graph would look like a straight line from -7 to 2 but the endpoints -7 and 2 are hollow

Yes, that is a good idea - graph the inequality.

|4x+10|<18
If -18 < 4x+10 < 18
ie -28 < 4x < 8
ie -7 < x < 2

............. -7 .................2
<_____o------------------o________>

Thats the best I could do for a graph!!
