the list could go on for hours. My suggestion is to narrow down the characteristics. Like I wanted a traditional name for my daughter with a less traditional middle name. I also wanted to use a name from Irish/ Gaelic background. do you have a background preference, how about number of syllables, starting letter, ending sound, etc. find some characteristics you would like or don't like and start a list. Then just keep narrowing it down.
Congratulations and good luck.

Look. The problem in this world is that too many names are traditional. Also, usually kids get names that they don't want or think are cool because when they realize they are stuck with it, they might resent you a little. Regardless of all of that, don't go with a common name. I'm Justin and believe me there are enough of us. You can come up with a name that is both creative and fitting. Like Alias, or something. Good luck

I never got to use my boy names because I had all girls, 3 of them. I love the name David and I was going to put True next to it, David True. I also like Eric or Eric David or David Eric. I wish you well on your baby and good luck choosing a name.

Yes, go to your local library and check out one of those "1,001 Baby Name" style books. Most libraries should have at least one on the shelf.
