0.6 is a terminating nonrepeating decimal. Therefore a decimal is not a integer.

6 divided by 10 equals 3/5. This is not an integer. An integer is in the set {...-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3...}

integers are numbers which are either positive 0 or negative the numbers must not have any denominator except 1 or the GCF of both numerator and denominator is the denominator itself

6/10 = 3/5 the denominator of this fraction is not 1 and its also not the GCF of 3 and 5
