They are called Tarot Cards
And yes who ever shuffles the cards adds their energy to the deck
And therefore the message is then laid out before them it is their choice if they take the message as a guidance
And if they don't like the message then they can re-shuffle and draw a new one : )
Buy a deck and give it a whirl you maybe surprised by the out come
Nothing in life is to be fear only to be understood
Love & Blessings

I'm not sure if those things are real or not, i'm exceptic, but i really believe there exist people who can really predict or have feelings before things happens, and somehow this is where all those things are based on.
Anyway, if it's real that you can know things in your life and in your future trougth any method, i don't doubt it. But the things is, do i want to know? would it change what i do in my life?
I don't think it would change anything, i try to have a good life, enjoy everyday, share with my son, and my beloved as much as i can, fill my self with challenges and interesting things everyday. So i guess nothing would change my lifestyle.
But if i find out something really painful, maybe it would make me start suffering for that, wich is gonna happen someday and that-s supposed to be the moment where i HAVE to suffer if, to live it, and maybe even learn with it. On the contrary if someone anounce me something really good that will happen, maybe if i am aware of that i can even blow it!
Once, some guy read my hand / and i've heard he is very accurate, i really didn't want to, but i was in a group of other women and he read everyone's hands.
So, he told me not much, first he says that i'm exceptic, then he says that i believe a lot in god, and then he says that i can't be hunted or damaged by any magic, because of my faith. And he couldn't tell me more because i'm exceptic and he couldn't found out more!
But yes, i have the feeling that being close to god is what will protect me, and don't need to know the future.

I've had my tarot cards read and the lady that did them was actually quite accurate. She did a "Past, Present, Future" reading and the things she told me about my past were true. I was very self controlled in that I gave her nothing to work on, all I said was "OK" or a very neutral answer like "Hmmm". She had no previous knowledge of me, I have even googled myself to see if there was anything she could have found out but there is nothing at all on me. The present was also quite accurate, I thought it was not at the time but now I have lived through the events I can look back and say that yes, she pretty much got it right. The future one, well, half of it is right as she said I would finally find peace in my situation (she even knew the situation, but I'm sorry I don't want to go into too much personal detail here), which I have done, but she predicted me giving birth, and this is impossible for me, so I would say that was the one big error in her reading, unless a miracle happens.

Depends on the fortune teller. Though if they advertise and make money off of it, likely not.
There are psychics out there, they dont' all use the tarot cards. I personally find them hard to read. Though it is much cleaner then trying to divine the future out of bird entrails(many of the Romans and Druids did such stuff). You also have the pendulum which I like better.
Trust your gut is all I have to say.

Its not about the cards its about the person reading the cards. I have been reading cards for years for the public it doesnt matter what method I use its the ability I have that is working I just use different methods to be able to "see" There are alot of frauds but there are some authentically gifted people. My advice to you is to listen to word of mouth and to the people you respect. If they have good things to say about the seer then you go as well. I have found missing cats dogs people bodies I have no reason to brag I am not advertising on this of all places for clients I have enough thanks. But I do believe in God and I believe God has given me this gift. Do not believe the religious fanatics that think this is evil. They know not what they do. I do understand all the nay sayers they have never experienced a real reading. They are living in the total darkness.

Like anything it can be good or bad. Tarot, scrying, runes, and dowsing are all used as forms of fortune telling. They are neither good nor bad in the same way a knife, or a car isn’t evil by itself and can be used to help people, or hurt them. It’s in the people using them. The purpose of fortune telling isn’t to scare you, or tell you what IS going to happen, they’re meant to be a guide. Don’t look at them in terms of “This is what is going to happen to you next week”. It’s meant to help you out, and any reader who TELLS you what WILL happen is doing you a huge disservice. They are meant to be taken in the context of your current path. “If you continue just as you are, this might happen” More often than not they tell you more about yourself than they do about your future, or how your current state of mind will affect your future. The kind of reading I do tend to go like this “You seem to have just come out of an abusive relationship. See the 8 of cups here, this tells me he was probably either a drug user or an alcoholic. This card here and this one too tell me you are now depressed because you are afraid to trust yourself, and this will cause you to miss out on a great opportunity coming your way if you’re not carefull” This is a lot different than the movies where the old Romani woman looks at a single card, gasps, and says “I see…….death”

fortune telling is all just myth and mind over matter type crap, i actually spoke to a gypsy about it the other day and he said it is crap and never to have it done by anyone as you are wasting your money, i do believe in "the other side" and there being a past life but as for people knowing what is going to happen in the future, well i suppose the power of suggestion is what they work on and if you are told something and you believe it then that is what you will gear your life towards and eventually will make come true your sub conscious mind is a powerful thing and is controlled by 90% of your brain your conscious mind is only the here and now so dont let your sub conscious control your conscious it is a load of bollocks

It's not exactly an exact science. As soon as you trust it, it wil fail.
You can demonstrate this type of force to yourself. When listening to a speech or in a movie, stare at the back of someone's head. They usually turn their head. It happens more often than if you didn't look.
Nobody knows exactly what force or explaination accounts for the person's sensitivity. Meanwhile, don't bet the family jewels on when the head will move.

Fortune Telling???It depends on the person who is performing the telling because he or she might have phsycic powers or the person might be really accurate you cant tell if it will happen to you but you can change things by your thingking and decisions but trying it is not bad because you will laugh or have a confusion but dont take it serously its just for fun It can happen or not you are the one who will decide or it will come to you in time

The future is not cast in stone (or any other material) that can not be changed. Destiny is always balanced by determinism. Free will dictates choices. So any prediction can and will be self fulfilling prophecy to come true. The projection is...if no circumstances changed, the prophecy is.....
