My washing machine is a GE Prodigy Profile. It doesn't seem to have trouble agitating but when it gets to the spin cycle the agitator in the center seems to have problems turning. Sometimes it helps to lessen the load but sometimes it doesn't, it also will ocasionally start spinning if you give it a little push start but once again that also doesn't seem to help all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions or possibly even a solution because I am really not very fond of laundry mats!!

It will either be a clutching or worn belt situation. call a repair company for this one.
