I'd say you want to flush explorer and uninstall the other program are bits of it any missing.

You'll give walkthroughs (with screen grabs where necessary) to clear everything from Internet Explorer, and stop anything else unpleasant or unwanted loading.

Generally involves messing with msconfig, but the guide should make it painless

DON'T visit or use the software from new.net. McAfee flags it - and several associated sites - as being potentially dangerous:

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/new.net?suite=false&premium=false&client_ver=ie_2.4.6066.0&client_type=IEPlugin

i.e. You need to run one or more antispware programs to uproot the thing.

I recommend AD-Aware, S&D and the (trial) of Counterspy.

I also recommend (to all) McAfee's SiteAdvisor. It's a plug-in for explorer that flag good and bad sites and gives details on why they are to be avoided.

Holler if you still need help :)

It is laughable how buggy certain pieces of spyware are. It could also be a conflict between third-party browser extentions, though. To start with,

Perform the following:

Disable System Restore
Perform an online virus scan.
Download, update, and run these tools:
Spybot Search & Destroy
Lavasoft Adaware
CWShredder
Repeat as necessary until clean.
If you still experience problems after doing these steps, download HijackThis and post a log to this forum.
To protect against reinfection, download and use these:
Javacool's SpywareBlaster
Javacool's SpywareGuard
Malware-blocking HOSTS file
Optionally Reenable System Restore

i think your internet explorer has an error. you can use Mozilla Firefox as a substitute for that and for me firefox is the best. you can download it in www.download.com or you can click this link -- http://www.download.com/Mozilla-Firefox/3000-2356_4-10692698.html?tag=lst-0-1
