He was the son of Benton B. Hill and Nancy Rose and was born Jan 26, 1877. His birthplace was Wellsville, Missouri. He died at Wallace Hospital in Labanon, Laclede County, Missouri.
According to his death certificate his immediate cause of death was shock, due to loss of blood. It appears that it was due to shooting himself in the face with a shot gun and the death was ruled a suicide.
He is buried in Pine Creek Cemetery and his funeral arrangements were handled by Palmers.
