Our democracy is under attack by the republican party.
But,
The people who attack (in the press) others for saying good things of systems they oppose are exercising their free speech too

One is not legally charged for praising communism.

-How come US present itself as a democratic country when ?
if someone says something good for communism he is charged with terrorism e.t.c

The US is not a pure Democracy. It is a Democratic Republic. We have representatives who are elected by the people in their district (Representatives) or state (Senators).

I know of no one who has been charged with being a terrorist because they believe Communism is better than democracy. You make a charge but you don't give an example or reference.

-I mean can any of you why is it so bad to believe in communism in america?

Communism goes against the core of Capitalism which is how we have survived for over 200 years under the same form of government. Simply stated Capitalism says if you work hard you will rewarded for your efforts. If you sit on your rear you won't get anything. Communism says every one gets an equal share of what the whole produces. Communism says you can work your rear off or do nothing. Either way you get the same. My point is with Communism what is your motivation for working?

-What is that you hate so much? Why?

Anna, I can't speak for everyone in America but I don't "hate" someone who believes in Communism. I believe it will work well with a small group who agree to working hard to achieve a common goal. I just don't see a whole lot of success when you try it will a country because there is no way everyone is going to commit to working hard. And what are the repercussions if they don't work hard.

-Can't somene have the right to believe in anything he wants to without being insulted?

I agree with you totally. By the same token if I believe differently from you, should I be forced to follow your beliefs?

-What kind of democracy are you? These things happend years ago..(I'm not american and I'm trying to understand you)

We are a Democratic Republic where everyone is allowed to rise to their level of incompetance with little restriction from the government.

What things are you talking about that happened years ago?

I am an American (as were several generations before me). I've traveled through a lot of the world. And I try to understand the people from other countries. What part are you from? Feel free to E-mail me. I will be glad to try and answer any questions you have about the USofA. Just click on my Icon and it will let you do that.

You must deal with reality as it is not how you would wish it to be. Communism has been shown to fail consistently. You should also be aware of the 'Wizards First Rule' as stated by Terry Goodkind in his Sword of Truth series of fantasy novels,
'Most people are stupid. They can be persuaded to believe almost anything, either because they want it to be true or they're afraid it might be true'.
Many democracies are at present using this to cause a 'fear of terror', thereby enabling governments to pass legislation curtailing long established freedoms. They are losing the moral highground. Switzerland appears to be the one country that properly practises democracy.
A new site http://myverdict.net is attempting to establish direct democracy online. Issues can be raised, debated and voted upon, from local to international level. You can even change your vote if the arguments change your opinion.

In the US we are very poorly educated about socialism because the USSR was our "enemy" for so many years. We do have a lot of bits and pieces of socialism in our society, from medicare and social security to municipal fire and police which are tax supported and provide services to everyone; in a purely non socialist society we would each have to pay the firemen when they came to a fire and so poor people would not be able to hire them and so on. But we don't recognize this as socialism because we have been taught that all socialism is evil. It is complicated, if you are not american you may have trouble understanding; I am american and over 50 and am still having trouble figuring us out!

Communism is a political system existing in the Soviet Union in 1917 – 1991 and in the eastern Europe since the end of the 2nd World War to approximately 1990. At present the only communist countries are China (since 1945), Cuba (since 1962), North Korea and Vietnam.

Communism is a type of totalitarianism. It has the following characteristics: a massive repression system run by a well established secret police forces, an official and far-reaching system for denunciatory activities, single party rule, censorship, imposition of an official (“the only correct”) state ideology and appearance of newspeak.

Communism didn’t lead to improve any aspect of life of it’s citizens. Because of it the ideology (Marxism – Leninism) was the only legitimization of communism. The ideology was described as science theory and called scientific communism. The origin of communism was shown as unavoidable historical process. Scientific communism was proving, that communism is final stadium of society’s development. Note, that communist ideology was only camouflage that helped introducing terror and controlling people. The ideology of equality and justice increased many people living in democratic countries accepted and supported communism.

1. Communism has killed more people in more parts of the world than any plague or war.
2. What I fear are the Neo-Socialist Progressive Liberals who believe they were put in this earth and in this country to run my life. They will destroy the American economy (the strongest economy on this planet) with more new taxes.

They have opened our borders years ago in California to let in millions of illegals and then made them citizens if they promised to vote Democratic.

They are attempting to do the same thing again.

They don't believe that the Islamic fanatics want to destroy us. They would rather see an American city destroyed than to fight back. They wage war on Global Warming (might as well fight the Sun!). But not on Islamic fanatics.

So when a Neo-Socialist Progressive Liberal says they want to better America I know that they are saying is that they want to destroy the existing government and culture and replace it with a failed system. Just like the Communists have tried to do for the last 60+ years, in Europe, Africa, Asia and in North, Central and South America.

Understand this: Communism is evil. Pure evil. Good people died to keep it in check long enough for its power base to choke itself to death. You maybe able to convince yourself that communism was not bad but the world has seen communism and the world rejects it.

If someone says something good about communism in the USA or other Western country they most certainly do not get charged with terrorism. If you walked past the White House with a t-shirt saying "I Love Communism". No-one would care, they wouldn't even pay any attention. What-ever you've heard or read about the West is lies and propaganda. Visit a Western, democratic country and I guarantee you'd much prefer it to your communist one, as you'd finally be allowed to believe and do what you want.

How does one describe the taste of an egg to another person who has never tasted an egg?
You're not an American. You don't understand the concept of freedom and liberty. In America we believe the people should have total control over the government. Socialism or communism cedes total control to the government.
You are free to believe whatever you desire. But, you are not qualified to judge our society if you live in a socialistic country.

a lot of words, in protecting with organic hypothesis that's thoroughly unsubstantiated (an audio tape of grandma?? get actual). The structure states what's needed, and Civil rights says that each and every one races are equivalent. So?? The structure is thoroughly superb. Obama, being born in Hawaii, is a organic born citizen. what percentage words does that take? oh.. critics "declare" that he evades the area. no longer fairly. the reason he's not providing the archives is that the persons stressful them, are doing so, in an unlawful way.

Unfortunately we as a whole are too immature for socialism and communism. As much as it would be nice to implement such a way of life and government. there are those that would take advantage of the system by taking and not giving, and on the other hand there are those that would not be willing to share. There is also this innate desire in humans to be competitive.

But I don't remember anyone being charged with anything since the 50's for believing communism can work, here in the US. Please site sources of people who went to jail for being communist here in the US.

There is even a Communist party here in the US:

The only way to "try" communism is to go down the whole road of socialism, tyranny, reeducation camps, mass purges, and finally getting shot out the other end with a devestated economy and a ruined culture. Some things are dangerous to even try.
