If they have long hair, sure. I had a classmate in French class during the spring semester who donated her hair to an organization that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair because of radiation therapy they received for cancer.
Donating hair is a noble gesture and should be encouraged.
If a girl can donate hair, a guy with long hair can donate his hair.

If they are willing to cut off a lengthy lock, go for it.
Locks for Love takes the hair and makes it into wigs for children with cancer. You don't get money, but you sure get a great feeling that is better than money.
My daughter has donated once and is almost ready to donate again.

Sell your hair or donate your hair...Um, I think they should do what ever they want.... For those interested in this subject should check into a site: www.thehairtrader.com People sell their hair... Others that put their hair for sale, sell it in an effort to raise money for a particular charity or cause. After researching the BBB - give.org to find out about a scary number of non-profits practices...it's better to give directly to someone you know is in need or really research the non-profits practices...

If there is money in it, it is strictly business..making a few bucks. If you don't mind, give it away. I don't like when people say this to me, but I would want a wig if I was bald. Real or fake, just cover my bald head. Of course I would say to you that it is ok. As for advocating, I don't believe that I should encourage people to do anything. I have no voice.

Why? They might lost it when they get older, so they should enjoy it while they´ve got it.
Plus, most guys have short hair. Who would they sell or donate it to?

i wasnt encouraged, and i will donate, and im 17
but i have long hair
i see it as a nice thing to do for ppl who lost their hair during cancer treatments, AFTER kemo therapy
and you get $50

Short hair is as well mainstream, I love lOng hair on guys more, it looks sexy: three short hair can look nice yet it looks really common
