David Iraq wasn`t invaded because of 9/11 .it was invaded because of non exsistent WMD and other excuses after it was found that no WMD exsisted . Even the White house has had to admit Iraq had no connection to 9/11 or bin Laden or any other terrorist threat to the West .

We can't. The doctrine of Christianity has very little to do with realpolitik. This was recognised even in Dante's time (13th. Century) when he made the good rulers who acted in an unchristian manner wait on the doorstep of Purgatory, even though their actions where made for the good of their people.
Understand though I am not defending the actions you are referring to. Merely underlining your theological argument.

For those who state that Christianity is against freedom of speech, it is not ironic that Jesus died because of not what he did, but what he said?

Therefore it is a Christian duty to uphold freedom of speech.

before each and every thing do not hate me for my perspectives and evaluations. those who use faith as an excuse for hate are vile human beings. the celebration of Jesus talking to the wealthy guy - this replaced into an emphatic fact the position Jesus wondered what the guy loved extra - funds or God. He might want to placed god first and entrust god to guard him. If the guy might want to no longer supply away all, and entrust god to look after him, he replaced into no longer a believer. the wealthy guy had to understand if he might want to get into heaven the answer replaced into no longer in case you do not have self belief god.(Matt 6:25-34 talks about entrusting God) Jesus also rewards those who use funds nicely - (Matthew 25:14-30.) It boils all the way down to no longer worshiping and putting your remember on fake idols, therefore funds, yet putting remember on God, and he will provide. in this international he will provide with funds and extra. Jesus also says no longer all funds ought to easily accept to the church (Mark 12:17) and christian preachers (contained in the united kingdom besides) are not paid huge sums, and that's a 24/7 interest really than a 9-5 interest. on the different hand the bible talks numerous loopy ****, no matter if its an analogy or no longer, and as a lot as Christians love God they are no longer gonna keep on with the e book be conscious for be conscious extraordinarily previous testomony

By "we" I take it you mean America. The country has based it's values on the Bible but very loosely. Just like many countries, Australia, England etc... However no one is perfect so we can hardly throw accusations, because every Christian is a sinner. What I can not understand is how so many Christians support wars. It is clearly stated that "thou shalt not kill" - Can not get more simpler than that. A country on whole however only uses the values which suit them.
Remember also what Bush said: "God told me to invade Iraq" :P

I agree with you100%!
and yet.. the only people that are on the side of peace are mostly atheists. Religious fanatiks can be easily duped by theyr own governments to go to war.
they will find any excuses to invade... the reality in attaking Iraq is obvious: To control the petrolium resourses.
There is no other reason!

Someone is definitely going to tell you that this is Caesar's business. When Christ said, "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and unto God that which is God's." Christ just wasn't around long enough to comment on everything, nor did he appoint a successor to do it for him. His mission, as someone said, was of a more personal bent. His mission was to bring love into the cold law of Judaism. Organizing government along religious lines had to wait for the next universal educator -- Muhammad, who taught Christendom and the world what it meant to build a religious empire and changed the world forever.

The meaning of turning the other cheek is that we are to accept insult without retaliation. It does not mean that we are not to defend ourselves or others. I cannot think of a better justification for war than the war against terrorism. Evil must be confronted in the world. Here in the Philippines we have suffered for decades under terrorism and thanks to the unselfish efforts of the US and its president George Bush the Philippines is finally safe from the evil of terrorism.

The teachings of Jesus were for individuals. It doesn't mean a nation has to let another nation come in and destroy us.

Jesus was referring to personal individual insults/attacks.
Jesus was NOT referring to defense of a nation under attack.

Although many individuals are Christians and follow Christian principles, nations rarely are or do.

would you specify what premption? if your talking abour attacking Iraq-that was provoked by 9/11, continued by their murder of their countries Kurds with nerve gas and more, invading a next door neighbor country

we do need to share the love of Jesus in amazing grace-yet that doesnt mean we stand by and let others attack us and others to kill and destroy them.

turn the cheek when others persecute you slapping you on the face for sharing the gospel.
this helped me alot=Muslims believe some of what Jesus says-that is good=Following Jesus totally is total peace

and many muslims stand against - muslim terrorism in Iraq and blames the free countries trying to keep the terrorists from taking over to continue their violence to destroy others as they stand against believers in Jesus-while Jesus teaches to love your enemies and even gives the power to do it once we truely come to him personally.

grace came by Jesus- Jesus said repent of sins and be born again to see the kingdom of heaven.

in amazing grace of Jesus, that saved me and became my best friend as promised now to honor and respect, John 3 repented of sins asked Jesus into my heart to be my best friend (Revelation 3:19&20 as he asks us to do-knocking on our heart door to come in when we repent of sin-even one lie) and got born again, Now Jesus is my savior and best friend, working for me and many others too.

work for peace in the prince of peace "Unto us a child is born a son is given, and he will be Almighty God and the prince of peace. Isaiah 9:6

praying for you for being true and real forgiving and following Jesus not just as a teacher but as the Messiah, David
