Recently I read an article that states in 2029 a rather large comet is going to come so close to the earth that it will pass by BELOW our low orbit sattelites perhaps even brushing thru our atmosphere. Now this could cause various and sundry TRIBULATIONS to occur. Enough so that perhaps the world would ban together under one person. Especially considering that dependant upon various orbital effects from the earth it could come back aroundand smack into us SEVEN YEARS later. So... what say you? Could this be it?

It a very small probability. It would require a very specific chain of gravatational events to occur. But... just matches some of revalations close enough for me to use it to troll. :)

Due to other ignorant questions and statements relating to your question i will answer it.

1st. where did you get that it will come back around in seven years and "smack into us"? The five - six articles I have read about it has never mentioned it.

2nd. Are you trying to stir up trouble? you say your not, but you are trying to lure people it would seem because you know the bible uses 7 many many times in the bible so you decided to uppercase that its coming back around in 7 years when by the way no scientist predict it coming back around??

3rd. according to:
http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/asteroid_update_B_041227.html
its says
"Scientists cannot say that the asteroid will never hit Earth"
but never mentioned it coming around seven years after 2029 or anytime close to the near future

please do a little more research before posting bogus questions on here that are factually inaccurate.

Thanks
God Bless

It says in the Gospel of Matthew that Christ's own words were "No one knows the day or hour" that God will return. For all we know, it could happen tomorrow. Best to be ready spiritually for that day, and just leave it at that, and go on with life......

It could be. Depends on one's interpretation of Revelation. Or it could be that a giant meteor might be heading this way. Hmmmmm maybe we can get ben affleck and some guys to go blow it up before it gets here.

It could be. But if it is, there really isn't too much we could do about it, is there? We should be prepared, of course, and try to have something that could shoot it off-course if worse came to worse...but I'm not going to worry about it.

Besides, I don't think it'll hit us.

I hoped you included the link of the article to support your claim.

I bet that wouldn't be it.

Human demise won't be through natural occurences.
Human being is arleady distructive. Human beings will destroy its ownself in time.

Haven't you read in articles that abortion has more dead than the total of people dead in all wars put together?
Isn't it clear proof that human will destroy itself.

Possible, but then that would give away the date. Christ said only God knows the day.

"He will come like a thief in the night" "We will not know th hour" This sounds different to a 25 year warning...

As Christians we don't know the time or the hour. So you got me.
