ok so im on this diet i eat special k cereal for breakfast...then for lunch a chocolate special k protein bar(has 19g of protein)...then a spec. k snack bar....then just a reg. dinner... then as a last snack another spec. k snack bar. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and am there for like an hour...and i go walking/jogging 4-5 times a week at a trail. Do you think this plan can work by december....i am trying to lose 30-35 lbs? does protein really help u build muscle and lose weight if u r excercising?

The distinct K vitamin is a advertising ploy. Just consume Kashi cereal. Compare the bins should you dont think me. You gets uninterested in the vitamin ultimately after which believe like a failure. You want a good rounded vitamin. Protein, problematic carbs and fiber is a well begin. Click on my YA profile after which cross to the hyperlinks for a meal plan to honestly see what well meals are all approximately. Lifting mild weights its higher than not anything. You can do plenty of physical games from a chair. Check together with your neighborhood incapacity organization for a few movies to aid you. Congrats for in need of to drop extra pounds despite the fact that your disabled. You can do it. Just believe of the whole thing you'll be able to transfer in your frame from the positions you'll be able to get into.

Sounds like a good plan and protein does help build muscle, but you need to strenght train (lift weight) to develop any muscle tone.
My only concern ( I know this would happen to me) is that you may get bored with eating just Special K snack bars for all those months. I would try to add other healthy snack to your food list.
Good Luck with your goal

that is an absolutely horrible diet.. it's far too low in quality proteins, low GI carbs for fiber and where are the fruits and veggies?

an unbalanced diet will always results in major losses of muscle mass when the calories are severely restricted. you need to learn how to cook and prepare healthy meals. a diet based on processed food items is not going to get you a healthy body
