Which brand name of dog food is better for just for german shepherd dogs?

Both Innova and Canidae are excellant foods so it really is just a matter of choice and which is easier and more affordable for you to get.
Commend your choice of quality food instead of low quality store brand foods. :)

I feed Innova Evo, and mix it with raw foods. For me, this is the best. But that is because I feed Evo, not regular Innova. If you are just going for the regular Innova, it is about the same as Canidae and Natural Balance( Though personally, I feel that Innova is a little better). But Canadae is great. They(Natura Foods) do use menu foods to do some of their stuff, but is isn't at the same plant that was having all the problems. There are several menu foods facilities. Personally, I would reccomend the Innova Evo, it is a raw diet substitute, and can be mixed with other raw foods. Mostly, I use it because it contains absolutely no grains. All those other foods, even regular Innova are amazing foods, but they contain grains. The person that said that these foods don't have everything a dog needs....are you serious? Alpo is absolute crap! All kibbles really aren't that great for dogs, but this stuff is the closest you can get to the perfect dogfood.

Innova is better, imo. I suggest it because they make a food specifically for large breed dogs. German Shepherds are one of many breeds that benefit from large breed dog food.

I use Canidae for my Dobermans and besides the fact that they love it, they have greatly benefited from it nutritionally. The only people that I personally know that use Innova use it because their dogs (boxers) have skin problems or food allergy issues.
Both are great quality kibble.

i feed mine large breed adult formula but it's neither of those brands i go with chicken soup for the dog lovers soul. Long name but it's all natural and doesn't have all the corn filler and other unnecessary ingredients.
