im a guy in my 20's at 13stone with 25% body fat!what is the best way of gaining 30 pounds of muscle?im starting to cycly more!!!

at 25% body fat the focus should be on reducing body fat which will help to increase insulin sensitivity.

the body fat % is a direct indicator of insulin sensitivity in skeletal muscle. when IS is high the body is lean and nutrient uptake in muscle tissue is high, the opposite when it is low and nutrient uptake in the fat cells is increased. fat cells do not become desensitized to the effects of insulin

to gain a substantial amount of muscle there must be a caloric excess in the diet for an extended period of time. when IS is low this will equate to a much greater increase in body fat then in lean muscle mass

you need to focus on counting cals, cleaning up your diet and consuming mainly whole foods which are low calorie and extremely nutritious

also anabolic steroids decrease insulin sensitivity as thyroid stimulating hormone is decreased when on cycle which decreases the production and blood levels of T3 & T4

Jog at least 5 miles a day, do as many push ups as possible. (Hint, when u do push ups, u start at a small amount and gradually get higher so that your muscles won't ache or stain. Start from 20 - 60 and do o as many pull ups-at least 20-35 a day Because pull ups are very hard to do. do at least 150 crunches a day and make sure you do it the rite way. Lift 100 pd weights 10 times. If you keep doing this for about a couple of weeks, you will gain 30 pds of muscle!

Eat proteins, go to the fitness every day . . . and I would suggest to eat more Omega 3 and less Omega 6 to reduce the risk of putting on weight after you stop exercising.
