Make an NBA team that has no current all-star (2006-2007) and can be champion or as strong as possible. Only use 7 players, the first 5 and 2 benches.
Exclude Elton Brand, Jason Kidd and injured All-Stars (All-Star Replacements are also excluded)
Mine would be
C - Marcus Camby
PF - ???
SF - Ron Artest
SG-???
PG- ???
I dont know my PF, SG and PG so I need your help, you can remove camby and artest if you want

-----Since you can include former All-Stars, I'll have to revise my list.-----
PG - Baron Davis (Explosive point guard who can take over a ball game)
SG - Michael Redd (A deadly outside marksman from 3-point range)
SF - Ron Artest (A lockdown defender and a pocket thief)
PF - Pau Gasol (A legitimate low-post scorer and a great shot-blocker)
C - Marcus Camby (A great defensive player who can rack up surpluses in steals, boards, and blocks)
Bench:
Paul Pierce (A multi-skilled swing-men who is the jack of all trades)
Emeka Okafor (A tenacious shotblocker and a monster on the boards)
***Comment: Even though, my team is not a great shooting team (with the exception of Michael Redd) and may not have the most explosive offensive players but they feature a wide variety of different skill set. You've got Baron to penetrate, Redd to shoot from outside, Artest to shutdown the opposing team's best player, Gasol to post up and score inside, Camby to anchor the defense, Pierce to do a little bit of everything (score, assist, rebound) and Okafor to help Camby and Gasol control the paint. Plus, a frontline of Artest, Gasol, Camby, and backup Okafor would give the opposing team defensive matchup nightmares. Having the option of bringing Pierce and Okafor off the bench will provide my team with a boost in offense (thanks to Pierce) and defense (from Okafor).***

let me give you the ones who never played an all-star, just for fun, since others will give you the answer you actually want anyway.
C- Curry - 3rd best scoring center in the league.
PF- Chandler - great rebounder and tough defender.
SF- Odom, Pippenesque, enough said.
SG- Iguodala. 20-5-5 guy and a great defender.
PG- Bibby. Can average 20 ppg and 5apg, can shoot 3s and didnt miss a a game in past 4 seasons.
bench:
Bowen- the best perimeter Defender and a good 3 point shooter.
Kevin Martin - quick and averaged 20 ppg , 4 rpg last season, a good all around shoot + FT shooter
I had a choice between Kevin and Gordon, but eventually I went Kevin because of his size and shooting accuracy.
Also considered Camby but he is oft. Injured.
This team may not even win the conference semis, but they can go deep. When putting this team together, I prefered versatility but also considered speciality

I'd prefer the Bulls line-up. No all-stars just pure Gutts and talent. But if you say so:
1. Marcus Camby - C
2. Zach Randolph -PF
3. Luol Deng - SF
4. Ben Gordon - SG
5. Deron Williams -PG
Here's my explaination for this line up. Marcus Camby is a no-show on offense but gives you great defense. Randolph: No-defense, Pure Offense down low. Luol Deng is an emerging star. Ben Gordon is just awesome and a ruthless sniper. Deron Williams? you may have been sleeping under a rock if you didn't see what he did in the play-offs.
