For people who don't believe in him it's ok to have your opinion too.

Well let me start by bringing up the other question I had about the devil.

In my life I've made bad choices.

Smoking weed.

Drinking too much wine.

Smoking cigerates.

Tried to commit suicide twice.

And I've gone through some hurtful stuff like my mom's death and I lost all my friends I don't have anymore and I never had a girlfriend in my life.

And in my other question about the devil I asked is it satain who is making me feel bad about the past and making me so depressed.

Well then here's my question about god.

Can he really make my life better then how I feel about myself now?

I don't understand how all these christians can be so happy with their lives?

Does god do that for them? Is god even real? Is god really all powerful? And does he really have a great future planned for me?

Or is God just one big lie?

Whats the truth?

Yes, God is real..but he cannot make your life perfect just like that. You must not only have faith in him, but faith in yourself.

He loves you no matter what you have done or will do. His son died so that you can live. I have done everything you have and more....the only thing that has filled the void is Him. Oh and for the record, I am educated, and very analytical, they find more and more facts to support the Bible.. The atheists favorite is if God created earth who created God...some questions aren't meant for us to comprehend That's why its is simply called Faith...God has a great future for you if you chose to walk in his ways and follow his will. If not then you will keep going how you are...I look at it this way, If I am right and there is a God and I accept Him and His son Jesus Christ, I have gained eternal life with Him forever...If I am wrong and there is no god...what have I lost absolutely nothing, to me it is worth some of the earthly sacrifice..I feel better without all the weight of the world on my shoulders anyway.

Do you really plan to act upon what you are told here? Do you think God will miraculously make you a happy carefree person? Belief is faith in what is unseen. The advantage to belief in God-in my opinion-is to recognize that you cannot control everything-and you are not perfect-and that you need help to become a better "ideal" self. It is not a care free life. Christians have problems just as everyone else. It is faith that God is with you and will see you through those times that spare some Christians from stress, worry, and panic that a non believer may feel. Then there is wants and desires-to be content with what you have-not envious of other possessions. I could go on and on-but really the choice is yours. The Lord helps those who help themselves.

Well, the thing is that no one can prove the existence of God to you. They can point out a miracle in their lives and this is why religion is based on faith. It's the belief in something when this isn't actual proof.

Secondly, not all Christians are so happy with their lives. I don't think the devil is responsible for your sadness. God gave man free will. You have the free will to follow Him or the devil. It's almost pointless to believe in the devil and not in God. The devil believes God exists and so if you believe the devil exists, it's only logical to believe God is real.

I would suggest looking into this for yourself. Go to a church and talk to someone. There are many churches with small groups designed for people who are curious about Christianity and this whole God thing.

I believe God is all powerful and while man has free will, God can be a guide in his life. The Bible also says, "Heaven helps those who help themselves". I don't think anyone on here can say what God has in store for you, but you visit a church and see if it's right for you.

Look man First let me tell you that God is everything in my life everything that is positive in my life it is God that I thank so go on and think about everything that is positive with your life and how God saved you from those 2 times you tried to commit suicide and thank him and ask for forgiveness
The fact is that everyone has issues but its how we deal with them that makes us diffrent so stop letting your issues drive you and talk to God and ask him for help he wont let you down. Have Faith that there is a God and that he Loves us no matter what we do. Dont you think that's awesome that a God with the power to just wipe us out of this earth for all the bad we commit still has Love for us, FOR YOU! Read the bible Thats the truth right there.

Well for one, no one can make you believe anything. You have to believe things for yourself. I personally believe that God is real. I have seen too much and know too much to believe otherwise. You have to develop your own faith. Faith is something that comes from believing although you have seen no proof. The Lord can change your life if you let him. You need to make the first step and show him that you are sincere, and want to change. It isn't easy. No bad thing comes from God. He allows us to make our own choices though, and we sometimes mess up. He still loves us all, but hates the sin that is in us. The devil will do anything in his power to keep us from God. Being a Christian is not always easy. Our reward is not here on this Earth however. Heaven is the ultimate reward for living a Christian life. Find a Holy Ghost filled preacher close to you and talk to him. Everyone can use support. Don't be ashamed. Jesus said "If you be ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you." Start praying to God. Don't expect thunder and lighting, look for small subtle things and just believe.

Hello there. I'm sorry, i cant advice much cos i'm only 14 years old, but i really feel for you. I really do.I have gone through many things in my life.. i've been clinically depressed before. Yes, God can make your life better. For the times i was with him, my life was actually muchmuch better! Sometimes i doubt in God, like question myself "Do God really exist?" But i guess i'm just making myself beat about the bush, cos there are just so many miracles that God did for me and people around me. Sometimes its just too difficult not to believe in christ.

I'm sorry this answer is so redundant, but i hope you get better, and you'll find the meaning of life. God loves you, and all the best!! :)

First of all, don't get bummed out by the mistakes you've made in your life. They are over and done with and there's no way to change all that. Let it all go. Some people think that God is some being outside of them that can do things for them/to them. Not so! God is within you. God is the best part of what and who you are. Hook on to that connection. Does God have a great future planned for you? All I can say about that is that you will have a great future if you want to have it. God isn't some cosmic giver of prizes. You can make it all happen for yourself be realizing that God is indeed the very best of what/who you are.

Yes, I believe in God.

"THE TRUTH? YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH"
Try this
Invictus
Out of the night that covers me Black as the Pit from pole to pole I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate How charged with punishment the scroll I am the Master of my fate I am the Captain of my soul. -- William Earnest Henley
Or
THE ROAD TO WISDOM
The road to wisdom? -- Well, it's plain
and simple to express:
Err and err and err again
but less and less and less.

I don't seriously think any religious being are happy MERELY because of God.
I think it's because they live for themselves, you know...
like doing what's fun in life, meeting friends and joke till they forget the time, and many thing else.
this is actually what religion represents, that life is to be lived just how we see it.
If it's bad, then it's bad.

I never met one of satanic follower, but if they truly believe that and is happy with what they do..then hey..they're happy.
Maybe that's just how i see it...
If you try and get along with whatever going on in this world, it could be a better life.
No point to go and be sad and make life appears like that also.
