This is precisely why most people are fat. Spongy cake has become our idea of a good snack. Is a piece of white bread a good snack? If you're in jail perhaps and have no access to better choices. The GI on that will be nearly as high as pure sugar. Is pure sugar a good snack? Its this kind of thinking that is causing diabetes and obesity at absolutely alarming rates. Even in children now. Because you see where they learn it from. Insulin spikes are bad people, except for directly after exercise. I could make an afwully lot of poor food choices appear to be "good" based on a 20gm serving that only included macronutrient totals. So, there is not enough info for a judgement technically. But the fact that its spongy cake should be our first clue people.

It seems like alot of the calories are from fat and carbs, it doesnt have a high nutrient content, good if your eating it before a work out for energy, but if ur just lookin for a healthy snack, fruit is always better. can never really find short cuts around healthy eating, u either do it or u dont
