My cat is the same. He likes this game. The only thing i have found relaxing for him is food, and also there is a plug-in liquid called Feli-way that relaxes them. I am sad to say that tapping him, screaming or squirting him etc. has made him worse, because that's what makes the game more exciting, the fact that you respond to it. Ignore him when he does it or give him another toy.

My cat does that too.. its pretty much just their preying drive.. push him off the bed, and say in a stern voice, NO. If the cat has a bit of intelligence he'll know you don't want him to do that. It works for my cat.

The kitty wants to play - however, I you may want to try "hissing" at the cat - that is what the "natural" mother of a cat does when they are doing something wrong.

my cat used to do the same thing...and he still does sometimes. i think the best thing that works is to not jump into bed or move under the covers alot (they think somethings under there besides you). another thing that helped me was to not get him hyped up or play w/ him b4 your going to go to bed. try to get him to calm down and relax and then climb into bed slowly w/ him near the head of the bed. well i hope that helps some!!
