I'm saved, (I hope) I said the sinners prayer and all that years ago, but I'm not a good christian at all. I can't think of very many of Gods Laws and commandments I haven't broken at one time or another. I am sorry for all my sins, but some how I always seem to commit more of them. Well, I'm wanting to get my life back on track now, but I feel I need Gods help to do it, do you think God answers the prayers of sinners?

we are all sinners, born of sin. you can not help that. you are not a sinner because you sin, you sin because youre a sinner. make sence? if you believe with your heart the things that you confess with your mouth you will be saved. god will answer your prayers. and you will go to heaven, where you will glorify god. nobody is a "good christian". because the only good in man is God.

Yes sir he listens dont worry.
Im a sinner in actions and in thought.
When I pray I look for the prayer to be answered and sometimes I have to look really hard that god is answering it.
Sometimes I really feel that Im so much a sinner that even my prayers are not worthy of being examined by god.
So I ask god to help me clear my slate by asking him to forgive me of all my sins
before i start a prayer and ask god that everything will be in his will after the prayer.
When I did that for about 10 years I actually
seek a clean slate and gods will before I
ask him of anything.
Seems like with that sort of approach my
prayers have had more positive results.

Saved or not, everyone sins. God loves you so much that even before you were saved he was already working on the prayers he knew you would pray today. so yeah, he listens. You just have to believe he can hear you. He is always there even if u dont think so. if you're waiting for an answer, sumtimes it takes time.

The 1st thing you want to get straight is to KNOW that you are Saved , and not think it ? We are all sinners , but you most assuredly want to be a " sinner " saved by Grace and The Blood of Jesus ! . If you don`t go to God in Prayer with a contrite heart , and the true desire to live for Him as you should ; then you will not find the Peace you are looking for !. God knows your true desires and the contriteness of your spirit Always remember ; you left God , God didn`t leave you ? HE is always there waiting for you to come to Him and enjoy the Peace in your life that only HE can give ...

God answers ALL sinners' prayers! If God didn't answer sinners' prayers, there'd be no one left to pray to God.

There is nothing on this earth EXCEPT a bunch of sinners! Sinners, sinners, everywhere! That's us humans.

(What, you thought because you were saved that you would never sin again? No, no, no! All humans sin even if they are saved.)

P.S. You have to be prepared, however....sometimes God says, "No." I know this because God wouldn't give me a pony when I was 12.

on the religious TV shows they always go on about how God may not answer your prayer in order to teach you a lesson (and they're talking about faithful Christians)

The rules and exceptions they give are all over the place.

I think that if you truly want to improve you will get 'divine' help to do so. It will take commitment on your part and you may have to fall off the wagon and get back on.

The reason I put divine in quotes is that I think that we all get our heartfelt wishes granted if they are selfless and for the better. Where or what that source is that grants us, is up to each of us to define.

but my answer is YES

Prayer, simply put, is talking to God. It is telling Him our concerns, confessing our sins and thanking Him for what He's done. How important is prayer? When Jesus Christ was on the earth, He always took time out to talk to God.

God acts in mysterious ways. You have to be very in tune, and grounded to know if He is providing an answer. I do believe that if you are honestly trying to be a good person, God knows this, and gives you the answer that is right for you for whatever the reason. It might not be the answer you were looking for, but it is up to you to understand the meaning of it.

Yes. We all are sinners and he answers/listens to all of our prayers. When he answers prayers the answer will be no, yes, or wait. He has answered my prayers. He is very forgiving.

evaluate what's written in Isaiah a million:15: "once you unfold your hands in prayer, i will conceal my eyes from you; whether you supply many prayers, i can not hear. Your hands are crammed with blood." Now there's a narrative in 2 Chronicles 30 which says in part (v.18-19)"...the Lord who's good pardons anybody who gadgets his heart in searching for God..." In essence, using fact God is a Holy God, He can not associate Himself with sin. on a similar time he's likewise a merciful God. So He bestows mercy on those whose hearts are SET in searching for Him. it somewhat is motives why He sent His Son to die on the bypass in our stead, to pay the penalty of sin so as that we'd be reconciled back to Him. it somewhat is an supply, a unfastened present out of the abundance of His grace. settle for it? No? it somewhat is as much as you. I did.
