Then with your finger nail or a rather sharp object make a cross shape imprint of the area i have no idea how this orks but alot of my family do it and it really works so just press on it with ur nail then cross that previous line to make a cross or a X i hope i have helped a little " also helps with mosquito bites

I usually hold an ice cube on mine until it stops itching-usually by the time 1/3 of the cube is melted. And some Benadryl cream at night to make me stop scratching all night long -that way the husband can get some sleep :)

i'm allergic to these and swell up big time when i get bitten!!

benadryl cream or hydrocortisone cream helps soothe the itch and reduces the swelling.

you can also add oatmeal to a warm bath. put 2 cups of the instant or old-fashioned oats into a blender and blend into powder, pour under running bath water.

don't apply lotions, oils,or food-these things can make the reaction worse and can increase your risk for infection

Try Hydrocotisone Cream or any type of anti-itch cream. I just used it on my nephew this morning. He had an ant bite that he scratched until it bleed. I put some cocoa butter (so it wouldn't leave a mark) and hydrocortisone cream on it and he was fine.

A little dab of rubbing alcohol or some witch hazel sometimes help. You can also get some over-the-counter anti-itch cream which helps a lot. I use that when I get any kind of bug bites.

Oh, my goodness. The itching just drives you crazy doesn't it? I apply a benadryl cream and that seems to help. Calamine lotion works well also. Resist the urge to pop that pus pocket...eeek..it just makes it itch worse.

a thing called "stingoes" im not sure how it works but it does :) i think it just has a local anaesthetic agent in it to numb the area,

I have found in my personal experience that toothpaste works quite well too.
