The best way to get over an unrequited love?

I know, it's the oldest story in the book. Girl likes guy...guy likes different girl....now girl is heartbroken completely. So, what's the best way to get over this unrequited love? I've tried to tell myself that he's not worth it and try to think about all his faults, but it's simply not working. Anything else to do? (btw, I've never told him that I like him but we have flirted with each other in the past)

Anyways, i did exactly what you did....I told myself he wasnt worth it...but of course it doesnt work instantly...you need to believe it...anyone who doesnt appreciate you sint worth your time....At first i thought the best way to get over it is by getting into a relationship with someone else....but no..actually the best thing to do is be with yourself and have some alone time.. sounds weird...but it works..hehe

I'm still working that one out, too, and it's as difficult at 45 as it was at 16. But, if it helps you to know this, you're not alone. It seems we all go through it at one time or another. Of course, rather than thinking about him, it's an excellent time to put energy into thinking about yourself. Good luck to you.

I wish I could help you but I've yet to get over my first love or the 3 loves after him....getting over things is lifes greatest question, at least to me.

Unrequited love comes when the other person knows you like him/her and they don't feel the same way....

if u like any1 else the best thing to do is go for them and get to know some1 else who makes u comfortable and then within a week or 2 boom u will be over him
