The downside is it is a complete waste of time. The upside is that if you insist on wasting your time, you may meet someone there that may be interested in sinning with you.

The downside is you have to sit and listen to mostly boring sermons. The upside is that you belong to a community of people who worship the Divine Presence in the same way you do.

The downside is you go to a false church that could lead to hell, and the upside is you go to a good bible believing church and go to heaven.

Where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name = there He is in there midst- we have great praise and worship- it is a learning, spiritual and emotional experience- you get to fellowship w other believers- you may be surprised at the miracles that may occur and what the Lord may do-you may develop some wonderful friendships= downside- you may meet a jerk or two- but that is life-

The Downside- Sitting in uncomfortable seats for an extended period, listening to a preacher bitching, crying babies and annoying children, having to listen to hundreds of tone-deaf people belting out hymns.

No downside to going to church, love to be in church worshiping my Lord and Saviour. That is what it is all about. Bringing honor and glory to HIM

Upsides
- you learn alot of morals at a young age.
- people who attend chuch tend to be very well respected people.
- you feel welcomed in a community.


Downsides
- you get taught some things that have little or no proof at all.
- if you let it.. these things may stick in your head forever.

In the strict sense going to church is impossible. You either ARE church, or you AREN'T. Church is a group of believers, not a building, not even a social gathering.

Healthy families have family pride; members are not ashamed to be recognized as a part of the family. Sadly, I have met many believers who have never publicly identified themselves with their spiritual family as Jesus commanded - by being baptized. Baptism is not an optional ritual, to be delayed or postponed.
