I hear this a lot from people who do not have any God in thier life, the believe thing. Like make believe. Once you have gotten to know God, there is no longer any believing to it. You arrive at a place where you know God. You can't use ordinary words to describe Gods work, becuase God is in the spiritual realm, above and beyond words. I can understand the void of somebodys life experience that exist without God and being comfortable there., by comparison to myself before I found God, or before God found me. Its a terrible way to live compared to what is going on now. I am no longer ever alone, and I seldom ever feel empty and confused like I used to. Thank God!

I actually became a Christian this last March and I was never an atheist, I just decided to give my life to Him. I cam to truely believe in him by getting to know him. By this I mean read the Bible and go to church and Bible studies. There's a group on my campus that really helped me to mature. He is present and the best place to see this is in His people and I did. I saw Him actively working in people my age and I saw the impact He made in their lives. And along with this I learned why I needed Him personally-I am a sinner and I have betrayed God by living a selfish life without him. I came to a point where I realized how temporary this world is and how God is the only true rock any of us can rely on.
What I suggest to non believers to just to educate yourself like you're doing. You wouldn't buy a car based on one test drive would you? You need to know all the options in order to make an educated one and that includes finding out about God. Hope this helps you!

Look at the movie and talking book "Conversations with God" and I tell you more and more people are having this experience. You better not watch it, Neale David Walsch says it will happen to you it you do. And Barbara Rose and all that channeling I hear about. I have the same experience and the information is convincing when I test out the major points. The scientific method is objective, unbiased observation and then test what you see or learn.

As an atheist I see no proof and no reason for god. I was christian growing up. But one day I started to think. and think and I realized that I didn't believe. I don't think I ever believed. But growing up it is taken for granted that theres a god. There just is. I saw that there was no proof. I saw all the fighting between different religions. I saw the unjustifiable punishment for not believing was .... Unjustifiable. That wasn't love! I read the bible and saw the killing and rape and murder, all in gods name. I couldn't understand Jesus dying for our sins. It seemed extreme to me and makes no sense. So here I am. After spending 1/2 my life as a christian I'm going to spend the rest as an atheist.

Because when I was growing up,, and during my teen years,, things happened to me / and I did things,, that should have taken my life,, instead I am still here,, I have come to Christ and accepted him as my savior,, And now I can see that he kept me here for a reason,, We all have a reason and purpose in life,,And I am Thankful,, because if I had died then I would have gone to hell,, but now I know in my heart and mind when I die I will go to haven,, My soul has been saved,, I have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus,, I now have wonderful reasons to spread the word of God....

I do believe in Allah the only one God based on (1)all things in this world should be its maker or creator (2)this universe with all of its contents should be the greatest creator of this earth, sun, moon and other galaxies and the greatest regulator (3)people who is trying to have child for years and have been tested by a doctor that the husband and wife are healthy but they have no child and in other situation a man and a woman who are not willing to add their child his wife got pregnant again. It is the hand of God has a role in this occasion.(4)we can convince something is excist although we could not see it such as wind, oxigen, electric energy etc (5)we read the holy qur'an with full of the history of prophets and we can convince with the fact of their tombs and other evidence such Moses,Abraham,Jacoob,David,Suaib,Eve,and Muhammad pbuh. (6)we know that all humans and other creatures had died and will die and they will not come again. The death of them are not depend on their age .Babies, teen agers or youth and the very old men/women maybe die if the certain greatest Power wants it..(7)someone who worked very hard but he/she is still poor and the other man/woman who worked not so hard but he/she is so rich if a certain super Power want him/her like that.(8)someone born ugly but someone born very handsome/beautiful although his/her parents are ugly.(9)someone who diligently learn at shool but he/she is not a clever one but but someone who is lazy is a very clever one.(10)someone who is clever at school but in the communi
ty he/she is not success but someone who is stupid at school but in the community he/she is very success (11)someone is very easy to have a spouse but the other is very difficult to have a spouse and sometimes they got divorce..By those facts and be in the reality I convince that there is a God who determined and decided the fate or destiny, the age/death

Creation makes more sense to me. I've seen lots on evolution as well. Who God is? not sure to tell you the truth. Maybe aliens started life here on earth. but that would still be creation.

I guess I do believe in God, or a higher power of some kind. Its based on faith though and nothing real concrete. I just know that we couldn't have done it alone.

Simply because if I don't believe in Him, I will never know my origin. You as also I know very well that something keeps us alive. If we look more inwards we will find the existence of soul which is keeping us alive. Everybody knows that.
Don't worry about God, He will appear when we know our souls. We are in eternity, remember.
